I hope you add more free roam scene's in h3 so you have more of a reason to explore before the next mission like rewarding the player for exploring
N_Taii already stated that one of his main goals is to implement more freeroaming events in HC3. He alreay prepared the main map with this in the back of his mind, so there are many hidden alleys, places, and a lot of space interior- and exterior-wise to implement such scenes. Also on patreon N_Taii stated that there will also be multiple NPCs in the city with events that progress over time. So there will be a whole lot more to discover inbetween the quest and story line…

How weird, really. I get notifications about likes and reactions on my comments, but I didn't get any notifiactions of the new comments in this thread since last friday.

As was said above, I tried to make the new maps freeroam-friendly. That means putting a lot of see-through windows and curtains everywhere, some back alleys, a few closed-off spaces and other places the player can see but not the MC. To add also to what sfoMMA85 mentioned, I want to add short sub-stories here and there on the map, where NPCs go through their very own NTR stories as the player progresses with the main quest. They won't be dependent on MC interactions, which means that if the player isn't attentive, they might very well skip over those stories without noticing. They won't have a lot of text either, which means the player will have to rely on context to put the pieces together and better understand those small sub-stories.

Few of my thoughts:

- consider making a poll for Patrons and/or F95 users how many of them actually reached the end of the game (HC1/HC2) from the start a) w/o walkthrough b) with it c) they did not

- I think that typical corruption game, especially third installment, in connection with month-by-month releases, may cause effect of player knowing end of the story after 2-3 months out of 1.5y of development and losing interest. Providing savegames is wise, but may not be enough.

- replayability may be low then, focusing on dealing with it may be advised

- more freeroam stuff, more mystery etc. IMHO is step in right direction.

But think what you could do so player could restart the game every month and enjoy every time every time?
Maybe some gameplay elements?

There are some well-known, always working techniques for NTR games, like:
a) sex stats (numeric ones or maybe descriptive?). Checking such stats should cause some effort and maybe should take same resource as needed in-game for other stuff. Like gold, time, step limit etc.

b) MC's need to take action to prevent NTR from happening. It may be different mechanic than main story. You could just plant such mechanic in early chapter and it will be enjoyable every month player goes back to the game. For example MC needs to deliver something every day to prevent other male delivering that for him. Or maybe beat someone in fight (RPGM fight system sux, but same as other mini games, may be optional). Or maybe track female and stop her before she does sth NTRish.

- you may stick with flag-based coding, or switch to fake-parametrization (Japanese authors like that, there are RPG/Girl stats but in fact are all flag/boolean-based) or maybe proper parametrization, so MC and other males collect and/or spend resources and there are some RND elements.

- good stuff for NTR is to show other people have their sexual life and needs. I see some sandbox-like approach in HC3's description and some freeroam not-MC-dependent situations. That's good stuff! Examples: Some girls' sex acts may not be from corruption or betrayal - simple they needed sex and they were not married, so they decided to try. MC may have loving GF later but he wasn't girl's first.

- consider please "liquid" ending. Every girl can be banged, by both MC and other males. Every girl could be lost and taken back (multiple times). Every girl could cheat, be seduced etc. Every girl could get pregnant with MC or other male. Every girl could do paternity fraud. And finally - MC could end the game married to any of them, but... well... girl may be already vastly experienced.
So gameplay may result it's own stories.

I am also against "locking" girls because of corruption or sth. Or because of impregnation. I kindly suggest - either make multiple births during game time with stats how many kids fathered MC and how many did other males OR make impregnation of them unresolved until end of the game with MC/player unaware who exactly will be father until the end. Avoid like plague situation, a girl is "lost" or player knows she will be lost after 1-3 chapters out of 15.

This sounds really good. For example, some of the characters cheating in HC2 didn't have the same weight as others, and yet were still given a lot of focused screen time (if you triggered their events). You, the player, still wanted to see them cheat, get lewd and gradually corrupt, but they weren't anywhere near as impactful as Celes, Solana and Aywin. Making side characters still go through player-visible corruption without them sharing the same level of focus as the main girls sounds awesome. Especially if utilized with the 'freeroam event' style you started to use at the end of HC2, where the character sprites are fucking as part of the environment with visible text bubbles instead of the usual rpgm dialogue scene. That idea coupled with the promise of windows and curtains (I'm huge into NTR silhouettes, thanks Scars of Summer) is very exciting!

Hey guy a question not related to this game. Anyone remember a game which was supposed to release last year but got postponed. That game also doesn't have cg ( only dot anime). Someone shared the link of the Dev's site here ,where the dev shared the progress.
The game was like ' a girl with here little brother go to town ( i think to become knight or something) and stayed in their uncle's house. ' i played the demo and i forgot the name .

Really looking forward to HC3 and I'm glad, that you take your time to flesh everything out.
Hanataka left a big hole after announcing ntrpg3 and then dipped, but i think, that you really managed to fill that void.

i haven't finished the game yet i am half way throught 23 26 mission and i want to tell that Cellis is a whore..he flings with Edwyr for beeing a better bitch for Noah??? Her motive has no good intentions " hey you pass out from beer let me take a blowjob from our cousin cause you had iterrupted us earlier!!" XDD if.. WHEN Noah finds out and his heart and soul get crashed :) (its a NTR game after all) i hope to revenge that slut. and black tears of regret flows from her eye sockets

Hey, so i played and enjoyed HC1 & 2. Quick feedback : even tough the game was cool, i felt like aside from the nieve storyline, they were all too similar and everything happened at the same time compared to the first game. I found that the "diversity" or "uniqueness" of characters was not present compared to other games of the genera (HC1, NTRPG, D.P. ...).

Anyway, the technical aspect of the game was better, overall i still enjoyed it ! I'll wait for the 3rd game, good luk !

Edit : i had a few strange bugs where some images had naming problems (starting by an upper case character) resulting in game crash. Renaming the images and clicking reload fixed it.

However, a lot of them come a bit late in development, and it would be hard to implement them at this point. Besides, I can see the kind of NTR game you have in mind, which mimics a lot of the feature of some Japanese ones that put emphasis on freedom and options, but a lot of times it comes at the expense of story and character development. Those are enjoyable, I completely agree, but it isn't really what I'm aiming for. I prefer to have a linear story with minimalistic gameplay elements because, let's be honest, not much people particularly enjoy gameplay in their porn games. Most of the time, the satisfaction it brings isn't worth the time spent, which could have been spent in other, more important areas. Also, let's be honest, few people enjoy RPGMaker gameplay, especially in a porn game.
I'm not against implementing some features though, like sex stats and the likes. Maybe not in HC3, because I have other new features to handle in priority, and I don't want to feel overhwelmed, so I'll focus on that first.
(btw, the card game is going to be a little gameplay addition in exchange for minigames, so I guess that's that? It's going to be optional though, but with a small separate NTR storyline tied to it to make it more appealing).

Personally, I don't think knowing the ending is going to be such an issue? It's the same for most trainer or corruption games on this site, and even people who played NTRPG before knew what my games would be like, and how they would end. Still, a lot of people found the process to be most enjoyable, rather than the endings themselves.

Replayability might be an issue for some, but it won't really change unless I had branching paths and diverging stories. Doing those imo isn't exactly the best decision as a single dev, because that would simply extend development time and make people wait longer on the route they prefer. So yes, I don't have much replayability in my games, but I don't believe it is a particularly big weakness either, at least not for the time being.

Actually, for the four main and side characters, it will still be mandatory to progress through their storyline. I tried to make hem more impactful though, because now they all share a certain bond with the MC, stronger than what it was for Neve (the high elf character) and Thania (the black-haired housewife).
Here's an idea I already shared on Patreon for those freeroam storylines I mentioned in my previous comments:

"There's this street musician playing guitar every Fridath morning. He has a fan, a cute girl, that comes to see him everytime, and they've been eyeing each other for a while now. As the story progresses, there's this other dude that shows up to the guitarist's performances to seduce the girl, hits it off with her a little more every time the MC completes main quests, until the girl stops showing up to listen to the guitar guy, and you can spot her nearby (in an alley or behind a window) having sex with that other guy. The guitarist stops playing happy songs and now plays sad songs. The end. All of this would happen without a single line of dialogue, and would be understood mainly from the context. "

Yeah, I get what you mean concerning the characters being too similar. I tried my best to fix that in HC3, with characters from very different background (a priestess, a princess, a barmaid, and a knight) and by putting more emphasis on their individual personality and their relationship with the MC as a kid. Hope it'll turn out better : )

RReplayability is possible if u put freeroam scenes not events , scenes like behind curtain etc. And don't share those scens on pdf in game file . That way people might like to play again after the game finished bc to be honest most player like to play for the main characters. I myself skipped side quests and tried to finished main story.
And one thing it's a suggestion.
If u want players to play more side quests u can put some main character scens during the side quest. Same as above like behind curtain etc. That way people might like to play side quests as well. At least I will :) . There's a scen in mariexmas when protagonist of ntrpg 1 put pic on the mc s table at the end one of them is that Marie had sex with MCs friend too. For that scen i played ntrpgw again. It's not shown in the game but u can see them behind curtain . So that pic made me play the game again . It's just suggestion .

Well i played the game evrything but the endings choices and i want to say that the game is a masterpiece it sure needs to have 5 stars.It has some flaws (not actual flaws but when you see something that good you tent to seek the tiny blemishes) and let me tell some.
First the side characters they have diferent but common tropes (milf, bdsm and sugardaddy/prostitution) and althought they had enjoyable storylines their development was exactly the same. i had the feeling that all the female characters was the same person with different skins.. i don't blame the N_tali the game have fairly game_time (i am at 12 hours) and it could be boring a solution could be to had less side characters. Second are the freeroam events it was hard to spot them thnx u that you thought of us and you post them on your walkthrought.
Another one is Edwyr. He is to blunt and is shame because he could be an intresting charcter we saw the wood elf orb scene i like him at this point if i would be the priestess i would fucked him to :) and the slighty protest his dad about the abduction of Noah andthe confession that he feels jealous for him when he tries to kill him.and after that his develpment was
-Celli "please don't.. (Noah will see us) (come inside)etc"
-Edwyr"Yeah OK..fuck off i do whatever i like"
And at last Cellis her character developtment is to fast. The way she succumbs to lust and forget Noah is of the place. In my humble opinion (and i mean that, i couldn't do the work that you did) you should change some of her thoughts when she have sex feels orgasms.she should have the orgasms and ejoy the sex but at the same time she thought of Noah regrets, feelings,dreams hopes to do be together to feel the same with him, to be together free from those shits and compare Noah with Edwyr all the time and that would drive Edwyr insane (more char development with one scene). For instance in changing room scene i would wrote that her coversation should be something like go toghether somewhere only the two of them he is the better person she had met. none can compare to him and why not he is much better than Edwyr. The others Celli's thoughts should fit more in the NTR ending like the thresome scene with Vaeri x Endwyr x Celli.She escalates in an acceptableway but her trope of escalation is common on one session ntr hentai.

about the endings and branch issue i don't agree..yes it feels more natural yes it is better in more ways but also it should be a way to skip to way points to the choice branch.What i mean is that to see more content you have to make multiple playthroughts and that is discouraging
