So, after the last few pages of comments, I certainly have some ideas about at least part of the plot of this game, lol. I have decided to go ahead and try it for myself.
I am neither here nor there on NTR, I could take it or leave it. I really think part of why those who despise NTR end up feeling so burned, at least some of the time, is because you seem to believe that your perspective is actually the general audience / most common perspective, but it's not. The level of anger you feel and the breadth of your definition for NTR are in themselves a bit of a niche. I think a lot of devs really don't realize what is going to upset you, because most of us don't see those things as "NTR."
It's an unfortunate situation, and I can certainly relate to any story (even non-porn network TV shows) suddenly introducing a story arch or element that you personally hate, when you had previously been enjoying it. That sucks, no doubt. Some of you do get REALLY uncivil about it, though, and I don't think that serves you well. A lot of people probably enjoy a good laugh at it, and that doesn't help you be better understood. One person said something like, "hey, nobody's threatening the dev," but actually (almost certainly jokingly, mind you) one person DID threaten to give the dev herpes while attempting to charge him for pain and suffering (which I have to admit is hilarious to me, because I watch Judge Judy, and she is constantly laughing off people's attempts to charge for pain and suffering.)
So, I just want you to know, that while I don't necessarily have the same feelings about NTR that you do, and I don't think your position is as common as you seem to believe it is, I do have some sympathy for those of you that have been disappointed by this.
That said, there a couple of things I want to point out that have been bothering me.
the issue, is how idiotic that scene is once you understand the context:
Sola's traits and past events are:
- Got molested during school and she is traumatized by her past
- She confesses MULTIPLE TIMES that is scared of men, very uncomfortable in public
- Despite her past, she has some sort of nymphomaniac-y form of stockholm syndrome
- Yet the only person she feels at peace is MC(she confesses this ALSO a few times, including this recent update v0.2.3)
and yet we have Sola misunderstanding a dare and sucking a stranger's penis like it's no big deal
and the dev just recently told us that Sola doesn't have self-control...she is a nymphomaniac at heart so she must always be around MC or she'll have sex with the closest penis...DESPITE being uncomfortable with other men...
am i the only one noticing a few problems, like a few statements contradict each other?

NEXT about the glory hole and how Sola's sucking a dick off, she's a huge nymph, who turns 180 when she sees a dick, unrealistically so, which is what I decided as one of her unique characteristics. And it gets more obvious the more you play. She did not suck it willingly, but was given a slight "thrust" by a friend of Mifa's, not Mifa herself. Hence you can see a hand behind her head pushing towards the dick, which caused her switch to turn on. And Sola is 21 years old on that picture, not 18. I quickly made changes to that (also wrote it on changelogs) because if Sola is 18, then Mifa happens to be 15, which obviously doesn't work.

TL/DR: Sexual victimization, specifically, child sexual abuse (CSA), has been associated with compulsive sexual behavior (CSB).
Without having played yet, my impression is that Sola is uncomfortable around/afraid of men,
because deep down she does not
want to do these things, and she knows that a lot of men either won't realize that or will outright take advantage of her compulsions. For whatever reason, she believes the MC won't treat her that way (or she simply likes him enough that she actually want to do those things with him, so it's not an issue), and that's why she feels more comfortable around him than anyone else. So, the MC "babysitting" her isn't really about him "protecting his woman from other men," it's about him helping her stay in control of her compulsions.
I actually find this all to be sort of interesting, and that's part of why I've decided to give the game a try. Also, I believe the dev has said that the blackmail attempts plot-thread will be resolved in the next update with stopping the blackmailers. There a ton of games here where the bad guys win. I would actually enjoy seeing some bad guys get defeated for once.
