Helelle and the Specks economy
What's the point? An economy is only interesting with plenty of choices and opportunity costs. If you buy this, you can't buy that, and so on... and at the same time you could go sex your side-bitches (for free), or do some shitwork for monies. You know the drill. Is any of this in HPMF? No. So all that's left of the "specks economy" is that its an annoyance to progress the plot, with no inherent or additional (synergies!) value. In short: it sucks, get rid of it. We already gather curse bonus points to break the curse, specks on top is overkill.
Remember when Mars gave that mom (uhh...what was her name again, Julia?) some jewleries (or what not) in order to help her, because she was short on money? You didn't first have to go on a quest, so you could afford to help her. No, you simply helped her, because it was written that Mars simply is in possession of such valuables. Works perfectly fine.
Same spiel with Iris (the lewd maid; yeah, I just reset her in the cheat menu, so I could watch her thing.. uhm, top kek)... except now you have to go to Helelle and... buy the thing (the prostetics) from the shop?? For specks??
Mars: "Huh? what kind of logic is that?!"
But, don't get me wrong now, having to go to Helelle to get a few itenz is no mistake, or the problem. Just don't make it an ordinary shop and stop counting specks. Here's how that should work instead:
- The first few potions are free, to get Mars hooked.
- If you want more potions, Helelle got all the potions you'll ever need. Just ask her for some more. But in return, Mars - the prostitute - has to do something nice to Helelle, submissively, if you catch my drift... nothing too spicy for a bunch of potions.
- If you want something more special from Helelle, such as sex toys or prosthetics, well, then Helelle might demand some more hardcore pleasantries from Mars.
Once again: this is a porn game, so conflicts should generally be resolved by SEXOOO~. Get it already.
Would there be a problem with unlimited potions? No.
Would there be a problem with basically free access to the other shit, without the specks obstacle to overcome? Fuck no.
Do people want to lewd Helelle? Hell yeah, you bet.
Should you give people what they want? Ehhh, maybe, probably not (yes). So why not have Mars/Helelle lewds where Mars, for once, isn't fucking in charge, nor power of anything? Spicy, huh?
And it shouldn't be too hard to come up with nice, femdom-ly ideas that Helelle could demand from Mars in return for her lovely services. A massage here, some cunnilingus there, clean her ass, maybe she enjoys a proper fisting, or some other godly bullshit.
Mars, as the homogay he is, is already absolutely not interested in anything sexual with Helelle... which means this is perfect and works as a payment.
...oh, and one more question: so Iris was bugged, and instead of just fixing that bug (which I can't imagine to be a big problem/something complicated) you decided to implement a "cheat" to reset her state instead and let the bug be as is? ... why? lol.
