Hey OP you mixed up the Windows and the MAC version for the NOPY downloads. Hopefully nobody ended up downloading the MAC release instead of windows. BTW how did this game get to be 9GB in size?

Same thing happened to me, error was something about the name variable not being set. Had to restart and avoid going to the showers..
Was able to reproduce with and without the cheats. Looks like there is an event (maybe the beach_shower_noon_root) one which should be triggered but is pointing to a variable that is either typo'd or null and crashes everything. Wiping all the saves out would have been more annoying if I hadn't just started.
i have two things to say !:
1) it is a good game start, at a level of a "harem hotel" or a "mystic manor" but with a better plot and more things to do

Hello, it's because you didn't download the patch stated in the post. The saves didn't reset because of the error, but because of the lack of patch. With the new version there's no need for patch. But you'll have to start again.
Well, that was an impressive waste of 9GB of space.
So after reading all the posts about how this game is amaizing and seeing whooping 9k on patreon i probably overhypped myself for something amaizing. Little did i knew that this game is decently made. And this is the best praise i can give to it in summary.
I'll start from saying that as i said above it is very well made for EroGame on the patreon. For what it worth it has a lot of content, and it's content works well. There no moment while i were playing this game my game broke, or felt like its majorly missing something. It feels like an amature game, but well made amature game. UI designed nicely. Cool effect like paralax scrolling on character profile, is rare to see in games like this. The idea of the game feels like there is a lot of potential there. And its already has a lot of content in the game...
The problem lies in the roots of the game. I have seen soo many people here praising this game for having X amount of animation, and oh my god they added that much animations in one update. But it is just a renpy game, where creator boot up
Koikatsu, set up scene (which takes 5 minute to do if you know what you doing), and selected animation to play, than pressed the record button on OBS. This is it. If i want to play koikatsu i would run koikatsu. And if you want to add some kinda busy work between animations, Koikatsu studio is just a diorama, you can imagine anything between animations, you can place any scenarios, and if you want to add some kinda busy work between animations, you can pull out a goddamn d20 and play DnD between animations, or if you into something more of a rough kinda of play, play GURPS, imagination is your celing.
Of course they can add hundreds of animation per update, if it is just an animations from the already existing Koikatsu. Even most of backdrops you see in the game is taken from the already existing locations in modded koikatsu studio.
I'll give the creator that he did created a nice models in the character creator. It does have a lot of good written moments. Jimmy is just adorable goof. And some scenes are geniunely charming. The main girl, and mute girl is just soo much charm it is amaizing. The initial expression about the lady(sorry bad with names) was such a good starting point, but ended too quickly. Kinda robbing the point of being more of an achivement. You can jump from just stepping on the main character, to swimming with him in Jacuzzi in like 4 hours. Minigames lacks any kind of depth so they feels like a busy work, and exist to just waste your time. And progression system exist just to annoy you for the first 2 hours, to than be forgotten, because you unlocked everything. So without any kind of fun in the minigame, it just a busy work to acquire enough money to progress the game.
Of course usual excuse can be said that it just a version 0.1.2 or wtv. I agree, problems like boring minigames, lack of depth of the currently present content can be fixed by patches. But undermining problem of this being just a collection of animations from koikatsu can't be fixed overnight. It just a Koikatsu, with busy work between animations, and Jimmy, damn that game needs more Jimmy.

Casually, The least I add are lewd scenes or animations. I've never seen someone speak highly of the game thanks to x animations being added. Because as I said, the game lacks of H scenes. So, it's weird for me when you say "I have seen so many people here praising the game for having X amount of animation, and oh my god they added that much animations in one update."
The game has 27 lewd scenes right now.
And yes, it's true. Animations are done pretty quickly. You can probably add a 2-minute scene in 3 or 4 hours because you can use the default koikatsu animations. So if you wanted to see koikatsu animations, you can just open koikatsu and play there.
What you won't find in Koikatsu it's a Ren'py game that is trying hard to look like a normal game and not like a regular Ren'py game out there, a polished game, an attempt to make a good story, with its characters and its world, changing image like 2 dialogues to give a more "anime" or "movie" feeling, instead of just a normal VN. A game that wants to be fun and interesting to play, with Koikatsu characters. Maybe right now it's not achieving any of these points, but I will try hard to make that happen.
The Koikatsu animations are made taking render by render, frame by frame, and then making a webm video from every frame. Not just clicking on Record in the OBS and then fuck it. And if I play some league matches while taking the renders, whenever I finish, I have to code the event, write the dialogue, add the gallery scene and then continue with the others "hundreds" of animations I add every update. So, playing league is a waste of time, don't you think?
Try it, it's extremely easy to make a game, you can play DnD while doing it.
And thanks to Koikatsu I'm able to do this. I'm extremely horrible at drawing, and I didn't have money to pay for someone to make characters, drawings, backgrounds and etc. So, if people are enjoying it... I don't think there's a problem, right?
In the end, if they want to see a collection of Koikatsu animations, they can just play Koikatsu.
Start a new save, and pay special attention to the bar at the bottom of the screen.
If you start a new game, continue playing if you see this bar.

That is the point. The context is important. If i make a photo of mona lisa and print it in my book, i'm sure as hell need to make sure that everything surrounding it is of a good quality. Which i can't say about this, except few good points with decently made characters (way not the best work i have seen on the koikatsu discord), few funny dialogue, and good work with UI. It is a failure of the "game" in anything else. I'm not against you using KK as a base for the game, i'm criticizing that with circumnavigating one of the main hurdles of 3d porn games, of animations, you have all the time to do better job with everything else.
That is admirable /s . we don't live in 90s where even basic actions like this wouldn't be possible for avg joe. With Renpy, and Unity anyone can pick up and do this. You kinda shooting yourself in the foot saying this you know that? I did praised your work with everything else, but presenting basic skill in VN development as something to be admired, is wierd.
Well i do try it, and i know that anything you said about the "immesurable" struggle is at least wierd. You have all the tools available to you. RRight now youtube has all the tutorials available for making a good system for visual novels. There is nothing complicated in this process anymore, it is mostly a busy work at this point. Overall, i did, and i work on games. So i kinda knows that anything you said is nothing burger. There is nothing to be proud about what you tried to pose as some kinda complicated work. And stuff which suppose to be praised i did praised (UI work, some writing not all of it).
yeah, but as i said above, if you take a shortcut there, you should show something great around it.
And another point is, it is fine if you bought KK and used their assets. But i'm not really sure have you make sure that if you use assets made by modders, they are fine with you. Correct me if i'm wrong.
Is there a way to download just the update? I downloaded the game again prior to the fix. I'd rather not have to download all 9GB of the game again

You can use a VPN to get around the download limit on Mega, should work for upload limit aswell I reckon?
Some of my discord users used "MegaDownloader". I didn't try it but they say it works.
