Been too long since I last played, but I think there was (or should be) some sound effect along the glitch - so if you're playing with audio you would be able to tell the fake glitches from the real ones apart?
That is correct! It was with an Inscrpytion-like sound effect!

The glitchs appear a couple of times to show you there's something else there, but they appear only once. And after 3 or 4 glitches, then you have to search for the source of the problem if you want to continue that "side story". So, if you're not fan of scary and weird stuff, you can miss it easily.
After this, you won't find any other glitch out there.
I don't think a warning should take place, at least for now, because I don't want people to think that the game is some sort of doki doki or some weird "haha plot twist here you have a dark side" game.
Some "Warning; There are some screen glitches troughtout the game." is pretty fishy for some people to just not play it.
What I'm going to do, probably, is putting some specific requirements before you could actually see the glitches. So at least the player knows what he's doing!

There's an event implemented, yes.
It doesn't get very far as of now, so if you haven't seen it you won't have missed out on stuff (again: as of now, who knows what will come of it)
1) If Komisari doesn't release anything in the entire year ahead (it's only just turned 2022) I would like to say the future of this game would be bleak. So yeah, "somewhere this year" seems perfectly reasonable. Personally I hope sooner rather than later. I'm all for quality over quantity, but you need to have at least more than zero for the latter to be able to have the former at all.

First, let me say I'm still very much looking forward to the update and have all the faith in the dev. But, we have been waiting for more than a year now, and until something is released, it's all promises. Games that are abandoned are mostly either bad planning, or something unforeseen happening. With Komisari I cannot know the first, but the second could happen to anyone. If that were to happen, and the game would be abandoned all of a sudden, you have been waiting for nothing.
Illusion holds copyrights over their assets and the creators hold some limited co-authorship over the designs made with the tool (this is an express limitation imposed by the copyright law; see the "derivative works" section).
but some courts thinks it is different because you received money related to it (and no one shall benefit from their deliberate misdeeds), and in such case, for the ease of your mind, you may want to purchase the official software once you're able to. (Mostly to support the company, which is looked favorably everywhere, including here, and because you're a good person acting in good faith).
HHG won't be abandoned! Never! Something extremely radical has to happen for me to abandon the development of the game.
I think he's taking the old-school Blizzard approach, and not releasing until it's done (or at least, up to specific standards).
Eric Greyyou say you wont abandon it but what will you do if someone gave you a few million or you won the lottery of a few million would you still work on the game lol.
