That may be true. But there is one key difference. The creators from Drakensang etc. didn't get their money from Paetron. And their was a publisher behind it, so it was guranteed, that they work on the game.

Unfortunately, there are enough examples of creators milking their paetrons. Icstor, Irphaeus, etc. Without an update, it is not possible to check whether the game is actually being worked on or how much time is actually going into development. It's possible that they work on it every day, but only for half an hour. You just don't know. Because it can't be controlled. And there are enough idiots who continue to give money, see Icstor. I'm not saying that's the case here. But I think the dev here needs to prove he's not like that. The update will show.

That's an honest worry, Syr96, and some good points. The best way devs I support "prove" they are working are through sneak peaks on upcoming content, behind the scenes peaks at works in process, access to dev chat discords, and sometimes just a bit of written paragraph or Trello update on what they've been doing recently.

A lot of us get the impression that you're working very hard on this, but you could stand to be sliiiiiightly more transparent on this front, Komi.

The milking meme has become really cringey. People make it seem like every dev on patreon is just taking money from their supporters without delivering anything when in reality it's just a handful of them that do that stuff.

Hopefully the update comes with a lot of content. There are games like Corrupted Kingdoms that has weekly updates that build up a lot of new content over a year.

Well, there is a certain subgroup of F95 users who will call anything other than weekly updates of at least 5 hours of gameplay with all my favorite kinks and a daily pizza delivery "milking". Often they themselves aren't even the ones they perceive to be milked.

To be honest, i think aswell that Komi will deliver a good update. The signs are there. But i also believe that he is putting himself in the line of fire with this update. I really hope for the best.

Komi, how dare you give this so many feels (sniff), came for the... content, stayed for the story. Definitely want to see the two bar girls get some actual time, especially the younger one that teased her magic.

Also, GOD DAMMIT JIMMY! EVERY TIME!

Hello, what do you mean by transparent? I always "leak" spoilers on discord and I post lots of sneak peeks on Twitter, and even here, there are sneak peeks and images here that I don't show in other social media. Maybe I misunderstood the "transparent" word or I didn't get it.

Perhaps transparent isn't the right word. Consistent, maybe? What you just described is indicative of what I mean. You spread yourself over Discord, Twitter and F95 and I doubt folk follow all three. Perhaps try keeping an aggregate of everything you leak or processes you talk about in one spot?

I'd like to hear more about what you're working on more because I find the game-creation process interesting, even moreso from a dev/game I like, regardless of it coming with a sneak peak. Take for examples, this:

Well, I love talking about the game and the game-creation process, but to be honest, most people don't care. I would gladly answer your questions about it, but I don't think it'll be out there saying to everyone all the things I find interesting about the development of the game because most of them don't really care that much
