Hello, Selebus is the dev I know the most. I really respect him and I consider him one of the best developers, but I personally don't like his koikatsu style or the way the renders are implemented in the game.
In LiL, who btw is a great game, there are lots of texts between renders, and the renders just change a little bit their expression or the head movement. This way, you can release extremely quick updates. Making one scene and just changing the expressions or face movement is quite easy, the good thing that LiL does with it it that supplants the lack of movement renders with lots of writing. And that's great to some users.

With HHG is different, there are lots of movement and expression renders and little text, more like a cinematic/anime style. This is... Quite time consuming.
That doesn't necessarily means better, they are two different styles for two differents kinds of public.
And yeah I talk to him every now and then.
I personally don't believe that if there is no money or something the project will die, you can still make it as long as you have your computer and internet. What it costs money is the extra stuff, comission people for designs, VA, sounds for sex scenes, 3D objects, custom music, etc.

Why haven't you switched to pay per creation yet on patreon? Seems like a easily way to handle everything. It pushes you to actually release a update which you are incapable of doing on your own, and you stop milking your remaining supporters for all they are.

It's okay not to like his style, what I mean is if he or the other dev could help in some way so that his releases and it's become something more solid in the future.

Uhh that's the mom/elizabeth isn't it...? We haven't done much of anything with her sex wise in the game yet if I remember correctly. Don't remember a blowjob thats for sure. So this confirms this non canon xmas event no one wanted contains spoilers for the main game, ie we have sex events with characters we haven't in game yet....? Good lord could this get any worse? This is the thing I hate most about "holiday events/patches" (and even just "dream sequences" in some games) when they spoil the whole pacing/buildup of the main game by letting you do stuff with characters you haven't in the game yet. So then when it finally happens in the real game after all the build up in the story, the impact is gone, cause you've already seen that in a silly dream/holiday patch.

He said no spoilers in the xmas event months back... then there's spoilers (biggest spoiler of all, non canon sex scenes with mom/elizabeth one of the most anticipated characters) yet another lie/"changed mind". 2 years just to push out a spoiler non canon xmas patch no one asked for instead of the promised chapter 1... and even this gets delayed by months, pushing chapter 1 even further away, the clown show never ends.

Oh one more thing, in case you or others don't know, many of the animals or other models that people use in their games today (Like the chicken from HHG) are things that come from old Teatime models that illusion uses in their future games .

In fact, the illusion games before the Teatime team entered Illusion had horrible animations and were losing market, if today Illusion makes good games with good animations and has a character creator and creation studio it was because of the Teatime team, that today is inside, I remember the Teatime announcement because at that time I followed the sites.

Actually that school we have in koikatsu to play is something small, Teatime plans to create an Anime GTA with a lot of H-scenes, too bad there wasn't time for this dream to come true.

Maybe the illusion one day let this become reality by the Teatime team that today should be the basis of the animations of their games even the honey select.

I considered a sex scene not that much of a spoiler, you know, you will do that eventually. But yeah, I've seen here and on discord that a lot of people do not like this.
I will probably make an option at the start of the event to be able to complete the Christmas Event without seeing those scenes, maybe the Leticia event is okay, but the Ari and Elizabeth events could be considered spoiler. I will probably do that to not force people to see them.

And that is how a grift is made. There's no integrity or good faith left anyways. Scamming paypigs is the only thing left. Just makes one wonder why so many people put so much faith in zero skill or absolute beginner creators who "make" porn games then be surprised when said zero-skill beginner can't finish shit even close to on time. That's at least half the koikatsu/RPGM projects on this site. They're all classic 2010s indiegogo tier now.

I've been really enjoying this Christmas update. It was really worth it. The Ari and Elizabeth scenes are top-notch! Keep it up! Everyone in this thread should apologize for doubting you.

Yep. Most of the characters got small changes to their eyes, mouth, and nose.
In this case, Shino is the most noticeable. You will notice it less in characters like Fara or Lucy.

Not sure if it's the eye details or the different angle on the smile, but the original has kind of a naturally sad or somber look to her, while the bottom is more just a average happier look. Maybe you don't want her to look somber though, lol.

At least bring back the choker. Chokers are hot.

agree with bringing back the choker and i think its the eyes in the first one giving her a kind of sad "im fine (shes not fine)" look, the last one she looks much happier and not dead inside
