Because it hasn't had a significant update for well over a year. Not even a drip feed of content, just speculatory limbo & pointless Discord server posts that amount to even more waiting & speculation. Considering how much money this dude has made because of Patreon, it should've made more headway within that time span. The content simply isn't there.

just came back after a while of not playing the game and uhh, yeah i don't remember that name? it was fine before, spent some time with sunny and the "In a manly voice" didn,t disappear? any way to change the name? that would be an easy fix otherwise it's a pain if i had to start all over again
Didn't the developer make a post on itch.io a month ago saying that the next update was coming soon? What happened to that?
Every time he wrote something is for that... coming soon...3 years ago was the same. Money farm

Yeah, words are easy. "Coming soon! The new update will double the amount of content!". That was how many years ago now?

You must be new to the internet. He's been making these kinds of posts for 4+ years now while milking that Patreon for all its worth.

Komi's said soon a couple times recently, but only recently in respect to the age of the game in total. It's not going to be coming like, next month.
Frankly, there's reason to expect it won't be this year, even. Komi's not good at schedules.
I'm not sure what's wrong, but I can't turn off some options in the game, such as discord presence (urgh) and dialogue pauses/slowdowns. Clicking them does nothing. Actually the hinters options are unclickable either, the only thing that does work in preferences are the windows/fullscreen toggle and the volume slider. Any idea what to do?
