You're correct it is a measured response to a question that has been asked elebenty-billion times since the game was first released over 2 years ago. I could have been much more snarky. As stated then, and throughout all 600+ pages of this thread, there is no anal and never will be. That is by the developers choice. 600+ pages too much to read? Try using that little box in the upper right of the screen labelled 'Search'. I realize that is a lot of effort, so make it easy on yourself and find another game to play.

You are mistaken, there are zero tasks related to poker. Now achievements are a different matter. Meaning if you want all the little slots on your phone filled, you will need to play poker. Fortunately there is thing called 'Google' where a simple search of 'How to play Texas Hold 'em' will give you lots of instructions. Too complicated? Use Puppet Master's FAQ which has simple instructions including cheat codes to ensure you win.

g_cheats_enabled = TrueHere's what i do. The first hand you are dealt with, click fold... Then before clicking 'new game', SAVE
Click 'new game', you are dealt 2 card , then click bet(multiple times) until she fold or you win.
If you lose reload and you will be deal 2 new card. If you win SAVE before clicking 'new game'
Rinse and repeat... take about 3-4-5min. Play poker 'like the wind'(fast)
This will show in the upper right corner something like Winner: <girl> or Winner: <player>
Then you know if you should fold immediately or play the hand to the end.

I'm really sorry if this is hard to understand but there's definitely something wrong here!!!
Me finding these bugs(debugging) is a testament to how much i appreciate the game, and if it wasn't corrected so fast by the game developer, or if he wasn't as involve in it... I wouldn't bother with it. Keep up the good work darkhound1

The "get_endurance" method wasn't used. Instead the raw endurance value was used to check, which is wrong.
I won't change the "endurance gain" logic. It's 10% of max endurance per half hour. It also kicks in when you masturbate, because this takes time too.

I noticed the Endurance thing too, but I just figured I was too dumb to understand what was going on.
I may add this to my FAQ.
As I understand it, masturbating takes away 30 Endurance, but because it takes 30 minutes, you regain 10% of your Max Endurance (so 10 if you have 100 Max Endurance).

Well, I ran into exactly this problem now. Few minutes after deliberately failing Mercedes' room scene for the bug to be fixed in 1.9.x.... crashed during hot shots, but I assume this isn't even important.
I tried with older saves, same problem - it's not even necessary to load a save, just shift o at the menu screen kills the game with the stacktrace above. I rebooted and unpacked 1.8.0 and 1.8.2 into a new folder, started the game and reproduced the crash right from the start, so my conclusions:
* it does not depend on the game files
* or the saved game,
* or any created [cache] files (unless they are created outside the game folder)
* it is something on my end, but I didn't do nuffin.
I don't know what to do.

sounds related. I have a single nvidia (1060) in my box. Still clueless, though. This decreases the chance that there is anything darkhound could do here.

Maybe there is a memory leak in you graphics drivers. How about making sure all related memory is cleared? Biggest slugger is a power down of your system. But maybe you have other tools to make sure all memory is empty before starting the game, and can get away with less drastic measures.
Tried that already, first with a reboot, then total loss of power with the switchable cord for half a minute. I don't get it right now.
But I'm with you regarding the leaking nvidia driver.

nope. not totally. It was partially me, partially renpy.
I shut off the computer a second time, because I had second thoughts about the duration to void remaining capacitors. In my new folder, I started the game, opened the console, which opened! and there was the history of my attempts to debug the Mercedes bug, last call was globals(). This was too much, it's being rendered in a probably not so cheap way. Why it's shown now? I don't know, but I'll find the stupid file and clear it. Since the original reporter also used the console to cheat (and so did a few others I found in other renpy games), I consider this the root cause. Too much history text, as stated elsewhere.
EDIT 2:
So renpy stores data (saves and "persistent") in %APPDATA%/RenPy/. Somewhere in these files (in binary), the history is stored. My attempt to duplicate the folder actually changed nothing of importance (well, the cache files maybe, but I deleted those anyway).
If you manage to open the console (like I did, directly after boot), you can use the command "clear" to truncate the console history. I wish there was a safe way without opening the game. I hope I'm safe now.

All Mega links in OP (=first Post of Thread) work just fine if you're trying to download Holiday Island. And there's several other working download link options for HI available, too. Of other games I don't know...
Are you sure you're in right Thread? And there's General Troubleshooting -section in F95zone, there you can ask help there if none of Mega links shared in the 'Zone aren't working.
I could not open the console at all for 99% of the time. Opening the console caused the memory error, due to the heavy backlog I created.

I don't like this game genre very much, but this game arrested me, really arrested me, I played until 4 am. I really enjoyed this game. He was the exception.

its capped, no way to get everyone on the island at the same time, and even if you could tweak a few variables, it would probably break half the game, if you are asking about inviting/removing girls from the island you do that at the reception in exchange for company favor.
