That is why my message is more geared towards the Companion Mod Dev, then the average player. It is just sometimes difficult to get your voice heard without making a blast to the entire world. Especially with a tight nit community.

Well the original designer of the Companion Mod, Niceerotica, no longer works or develops the Mod anymore.
The main creator of this game, Darkhound has now taken over and writes the Companion Mod.

So I think he has it covered.

I understand you want to show your skill and help, maybe look at making your own companion mods for games that don't have them or even a game of your own. If you are not good at the graphic side , ask around and join with someone who is

My save not working

Have a running game save?

This is what happens if you load a save game where you haven't even gotten to the island yet.​

Just start a new game, there is nothing to load/preserve anyway. ​

It is a Sandbox and as such, someone else's 'save' will not do you any good as you will miss out on over half the game's appointments/events/scenes etc. To be blunt, stop being lazy and play the game. If that is beyond your comprehension, just delete the game and find something else to play or spend your time on PornHub.

Reinstall your game. reinstall the companion mod. Hot fix 2 from Dark and this fix. try and see if this resolves the issue

LOL Damn you Bantry. I got it to load and got message I just posted and told him to reinstall game, add companion mod and hot fix 2 and 7 I had . Who knows it might run better LOL.

Its Bantry's "FULL SAVE" file.

This is a "full save" person who has found that his save file is at the very beginning of the game so causes an error as not all variables are set up at the beginning, so when you fresh try to load has errors.

Yes, complete all the quests associated with her. You CANNOT use any cheats or mods to affect her stats you MUST complete the quests. It's all explained in the Companion Guide.

Ok this is new While playing Poker. Seen code to turn this on is g_cheats_enabled = true. I tried ending it with false. Nope lol. get NameError: name 'false' is not defined>

Getting a really strange bug with the poker game since the last couple of versions. Every time I fold, call, or raise, the next thing I click it resets the hand and all the chips are the same. Complete loop. Any idea what the heck I can do to fix this?

Have you used any console codes? Changed the girl's poker skill level via the mod? If no to both, then you have to wait until darkhound1 sees and responds to your post.

Python is a fickle thing. For boolean variables, it's True and False (has to be capitalized).

Looks like Aly wasn't your plane girl and you are missing the event that happens right after you arrive on the island. You can double check by bringing up your progress with Aly on your phone.

Just finished a poker round against Renee, and did not experience this. However, I use no cheats/console codes/skill changes as Bantry points out.

One thing to consider: There is an extra click between each action due to the dialogue, so the game feels "click-y", and if you over-click you may be folding instead of taking the action you think you are.

EDIT: Too many statements with no advice: Pause for a second over the buttons. If they HIGHLIGHT, that's the action. If they do NOT, you are still on dialogue. Click once somewhere else to clear the dialogue.
