Looking at the banner I have to say I am majorly impressed at the rate your art is improving. Having been around since Ver 2.1 It's been a delight seeing this, because I love the whole concept and focus of the game, and knowing you said you began this project as an excuse to work on your art and seeing it bear fruit like this is absolutely inspiring honestly.

Everything looks much less stiff and more expressive, and the pregnant belly in the banner especially well shaped, looks like still a lot of room to improve of course but you are really coming into your own here. Also still hoping a futanari potion gets implemented at some point, because I still want Olivia to be able personally knock up Anya, Eilana, and any other lovely lass that might be implemented later on.

I am curious though about the guest artist and how this will work. It's not often you see a guest pop in for a few scenes when their art is so different from the main artist's style, especially one that's still developing. Will these scenes be replaced? Are you trying to move your style more towards the guest artists? or is it more of an "It's not that big of a deal, I just thought this was a cool thing to do" situation?

Thanks for the feedback! The guest artist's style is one that I felt was close enough to my goal style that, at the very least, it won't be too much of an issue. I'm hoping that someday my own skills are high enough that, while not necessarily matching 100%, will at least be "comparable" and won't have a massive difference in styling.

I'm slightly more concerned, instead, about how some of the older artwork (particularly some of the fallen poses) are looking very out of date now!

Futa potion's still planned, but there's lots of stuff I need to flesh out too, mostly starting with going back and updating the church, corrupt church, and various older content to bring it up to the new (and, while I'm at it, re-writing much of the previous dialog to fit in pregnancy for Anya and Eilana! This, in particular, is what's holding back a lot of fun events with them!)

Not to mention some more needed revamps of the way I've structured potions to make them more modular and easier to work with!

The goal is to get some sort of fun futa content in as I bring everything in to wrap-up stage 1 of development, the goal of which focuses around getting 4 datable characters, 3 ptjs and 3 clubs/activities (now implemented! but not all complete....) and roughly 10 semesters worth of classes (goal of 60+ to offer some choices)

Once I hit the content goal for this stage, I'll likely continue adding classes while tightening up what I've got, doing stuff like making sure crafting is good, combat is balanced, and each character has at least 1-2 side-stories each where fun things happen(IE- Anya's current one, which is less than half-done, basically fun little storylines that are not exactly major, but unlock various events and such.)

These side-stories are likely where futa content will start to be unlocked, likely starting with Anya (since she's got a nice interest in potions to begin it) but possibly other areas might work as well, such as a spell learned in the dark church or something....)

From there, side-stories will unlock as conditions allow (Anya might be interested in testing it immediately, while Eilana might need some persuasion or corruption to get into the mood?)

I have no idea how long all of this will take, particularly with me still needing 1 new character and lots of dungeon content to reach that baseline goal (particularly, the entire second half of the area after the nekomatas... and perhaps a rework of the first half of that area as well...)

But hopefully, I'll be able to get to it all soon!

Oh right. One additional piece of feedback since your art is improving. Personally I don’t think it’s a good idea for your character portrait to be directly facing the camera. Especially in a porn game when breast size and pregnancy come into play, a straight on view perspective wise can make it hard to really grasp sizes and depth.

I think orientation and perspective are something to work on there. It’s not yet on F95 but check out an in free progress RPG maker porn game call “Collars Rebirth” by Nekomatic. It shares some similar design philosophies with HMA in terms of the free roam, character driven sub quests and pregnancy focus. The character angles used there are excellent for showing off. I believe they also use a modular approach like what you’ve mentioned.

The devs, Paws and Nekomatic are pretty chill people and might be willing to give you some pointers art wise if you wanted to ask, the Collars discord is open to the public after all. Regardless I wish you the best and look forward to what HMA has to offer going forward.

Yeah I knew that early on somewhat, but frontal-view was my skill level at the time! (Anya's first bust was 3/4ths and it went a little... off)

I got much better with Eilana's portrait, in terms of not only perspective(she's in 3/4th), but also shading and depth. You can sort of see it in the banner image as well, the head is 3/4ths while the body is mostly side and it works a bit better. Still a lot to improve (in particular, shoulder and head) but it's a lot better!

Next few will likely be interesting, as I plan on doing the next character in 3/4ths for the main view... But also frontal and side for more expressive emotions and animation! If it works, the next art-redesign will go back in and do the same for all the currently implemented characters.

you mention werewolves being a thing. where are they?

also I'm half-way through term 3, and the 2nd floor dungeon still isn't available. what's the trigger to activate it?

edit-mixed up reading-2nd floor dungeon unlocks naturally.... I can't entirely remember but I wanna say semester 4ish. its only enterable from the main hall stairs too. corruption from the tavern or kitchen ptj can get you in faster if you start early and don't get any purity.

The trigger for the main dungeon should be morning of like day 3 of semester 2. The main dungeon's second part (after a village of cat-people and a small boss battle with said cat-people) contains the werewolves.

I'll do some testing and make sure I didn't accidently mess up the triggers while working on the Nurse's aid PTJ somehow. Will be releasing a bugfix patch in the next few days with some smaller fixes I found earlier too.

Edit2- It's semester 3 OR 25+ corruption to enter, only enterable from the main entry hall stairway

After I'm confident I won't be re-doing the artwork every few months.

I really, really want to do fun transformations (catgirl! Vampire! Succubus!) and the artwork is even modular enough to mostly allow for it(might not show up on all sex scenes, might need to be hidden somewhat for like succubus to avoid panic....)

But I'm trying to avoid extras (extra outfits, extra parts, etc etc) until after I know I won't have to re-do everything as my art skill increases.

Plus, it will be easier to find hooks to implement such events as the game expands. More crafting options, more dungeons and levels (and monsters and bosses!) to hook events into for transformations, etc etc.

Oh good, so let the imps fuck me 26 times. They're my favorite in the game right now.

I've gotten to the neko village, but they're still in mating season and going to the next area has an infinite battle. any time I defeat someone, more take their place. Have to wait until later, I guess?

I should add a UI counter/healthbar to that battle.... They eventually stop and let you pass onto the next area, the boss style is "hoard boss" like the deacons fight in dark souls, cept with cute cat-people. Focus on the males, they're slightly stronger, but once you defeat a set number of the males the fight ends.

The mating season effect is the pollen in the air rapidly increasing lust and then reducing speed, it can be mitigated by winter (which isn't shown yet, but happens every 4 semesters starting from the start of the game or when the boss update happened if you're using an older save file from a few versions ago or before.)

It can also be mitigated with wind barrier spell from wind magic classes as well, or just chugging potions to reduce lust. Or just powered through if you're strong enough.

There isn't much past it yet besides the werewolves though for now, it's still very much in progress.

Even at max corruption she's still relatively normal, the only thing that really changes is that she might be willing to, say, let some men at the tavern run a train on her or something like that, something that would be too risky or dirty for a normal person to do..
Is that actually an implemented option? Get a group to gangbang her?

Not yet in terms of prostitution (there's imps, naturally, and also a bit with the nekomatas and probably some others I'm not remembering right now), but I have plans for a more depraved prostitution path utilizing the corrupt church (an expansion to it), the new comm phone options, and an expanded prostitution system where clients can call you up if you leave the options available for it.

These would allow for a gradual corruption system where you slowly get drawn in to more and more depraved things that I thought might be really cool, but, like with everything, it still needs stuff implemented for it, particularly those corrupt church expansions.

Whereas the purity system will likely intertwine the normal church and the nurse's aid ptj, focusing on helping others feel better through the power of LOVE! Possibly even extending into the village and "helping" people solve their problems though... more love! (A more naive (I'm just helping them solve their marriage issues by letting them play with me!!) approach to purity that I thought might be fun.)

The church and corrupt church expansions will come first (after I finish up a bunch of stuff), then the expanded corruption and purity paths, probably in stages, so it all might take a while!

Encountered two bugs:
1. when doing kitchen work too much (got it to 216 payout from cleaning/cutting) if trying to Stock Pantry game completely freezes after it tells you what ingredient you need to look for.
2. if going past nekomata village to breeding grounds, getting slowed by pollen(I think?) and then dying, you get permanently slowed down (persists after save/load, haven't found a way to restore movement speed). If trying to go there again and get pollen again, you can't move at all.

Such as dog and ? being able to go at it? I know I'd like to see those two able to enjoy each others company. ( became pregnant gives birth )
