Don't know where you heard that. It may or may not be true but either way it is fair to say that his track record doesn't support that claim since he's abandoned every other project he's started. Having said that however, this is the MOST COMPLETE work he's ever done by several fold at this point.
To reiterate my previous point: Find me another H-side scroller with this existing amount of plot, characters, enemies, functional gameplay, combat rape, GORs, and this frequency of updates. You simply can't. Even if it never gets finished we still have a lot of great content here.
I too would like to see a return to the main track but we lose nothing having more content added.

Personally I think a big reason for the recent gap in story content and otherwise larger updates is due to his health. All he seems to be able to get out in time are smaller updates and/or easter eggs. I don't mind, but I also wouldn't be opposed waiting a few months for one update to the main story, as that seems to be something we're all missing

Idk if I just imagined I posted this or I did and a mod deleted it for some reason, but I feel like Inu's updates have been getting fewer and fewer as the months have gone by of late and combined with his self deprecating and crippling depression I get the niggling impression he may yet scrap this project in favour of trying a new "fresh" project which... while I do hope that's not the case I'll say that if the trend of past projects is anything to go by "Hound of the Meteor" has been pretty great so "Hound of the ___" will likely be amazing~!
