Reading the comments about the most recent update makes me glad I haven't played it. Sounds like the dev went off the fuckin rails.

The update is good, plus the update is relatively free (barring the time you will spend downloading it and maybe a data cap imposed by any isp overlords) so play it and judge it yourself if the dev really went of the fuking rails.

That's the entire fucking problem though, you don't control her. There's nothing wrong with her being yandere, it's that she completely fucks you over that is the problem.

GoT is a good example indeed. The assumption that the negative reaction is something intended and wanted is false though. In GoT's case the showriting pair went into hiding, skipping appearances in major cons and shows (ComicCon one of them). If the reaction was something I wanted, I'd back it up not hide.

When you are dealing with audiences, you want your product to appeal to them obviously. It's a fact that sometimes creators fuck up for a variety of reasons. It would be a mistake to assume that if a narrative twist is not liked by an audience, it's always the dumb audience "not getting it" by default.

To go back on topic it's not even about the narrative twist itself for me as I don't expect any porn game to be the pinnacle of scriptwriting of all things. I would be fine with it if a) it didn't overstay its welcome for 3 updates now and b) wasn't forcing the MC to act like a drooling retard in order for it to work. At least make the antagonist work for it.

Right now it's like that dumb protagonist in horror b-movies who makes the absolutely worst possible decisions just because the plot needs some cheap jump scares...

I completely agree that when you're making a product it must appeal to the target audience, and sometimes changing gears can lose their loyalty. But I am going to borrow what you said, about porn games not being the pinnacle of plot, script writing, storytelling, whatever word you choose. Nobody ever said EU's Hypnosis was supposed to be about outstanding writing. The game's story and writing style in itself is like a strangely enjoyable crappy fan fiction. It does not take itself seriously. So the premise is there that the audience should not take it seriously either. So why are people taking this turn of events so seriously? Oh no, a twist! Why so serious?

I have been defending the dev on their decision because I can see that they're at least putting in the effort to write something interesting into something as crazy as a magic watch that can transform people's minds and bodies. Why wouldn't Laura want to take that power? But even if someone else does not find the latest developments interesting, I feel I have to ask why they're getting so upset over a game that clearly was not meant to be taken seriously in the first place? And at least one of those guys has stated he's pulling funding from the project in protest. I think they're overreacting.

I think it's pretty obvious the MC will have a chance to bounce back in a later part of the story. The "bad stuff" with Laura has only started with the last 2-3 updates, depending on how you count it. First the watch goes missing. Then we find out the other girls aren't talking to you. Now we find out why. Next should be the resolution and conclusion. The MC's run of bad luck is probably not going to last much longer. Probably only one more episode at the most unless the dev decides to go full GoT and have Laura win no matter what. I'll say, "that guy has got some serious balls!" if they do. But I seriously doubt they will, and a Laura victory will just be one of possible endings out of 10 or more different endings.

Leah already answered her phone to Laura, so she's clearly not that smart. Unless I'm remembering wrong the MC never actually hypnotizes Brittany, he just gets her with the heroin jizz, so Laura would have to start from scratch herself. And Grace already got hit with the commands from the video, so even if Laura doesn't try to, she'll just do whatever she says. I've also just realised that Laura shouldn't know the MC is under her control, so commanding him to come to her makes no sense.

The phone with Brittany could have been the very accident as it played out to be. It's not as though she has the charater motivation to help her sister do something as evil as dominate the MC's mind. It's also clear that she, Laura, nor anyone else has a complete understanding of the full capabilities of the hypno watch power either. How could Laura know it works over the phone? That's something you need to explain. But I can see your reasoning that Laura has had plenty of opportunities to hypnotize her sister, but I also am not convinced Laura is quite that evil just yet.
I'm willing to give Brittany a chance to prove her innocence with scrutiny.

I just played this for the first time. It was decent game. Writing could have been bit better. But my main problem was, as a small breasts lover, that almost all breast enhancements went into uglier direction.

But we had at least Brigitte whose looks, breasts included, was quite perfect. She rose into my all time top ten of the VN waifu's based on her looks, being quite close to my dream woman, so thanks for that.

Harem was nice and big, and I surely hope that MC overcomes problems he had in the latest episode. I left only one girl out of the harem, I think her name was Grace, slutty and not so good looking brunette.

Edit: Oh, I almost forgot. I think I saw continuity error. I don't think I enlargened Grace's breasts when option for that came, and still, it was big plotline in the pool party that her breasts kept growing.

I dont get how some get so twisted with a lil drama. This game has feel good moments and frustrating ones. Its a Rollercoaster with a few dips that add to the nice feeling highs. I'm enjoying the ride and look forward to making

I think the problem with all this is because this game shouldn't take seriously the dev choose this, this was a game for you to get the girls through a watch and that's it, it was never supposed to be a serious story, but right now the dev suddenly decided to change this after a lot of updates later,this is why a lot of players are hating on the update, if the dev wanted a serious story he should have done that from the beginning not 10 episodes later.

I'm gonna keep saying this. I'm not opposed to one of the routes being a girl taking control of everyone, including you. That's a fun path where you can go between submitting to her or figuring out how to break her hypnosis so you can put her under again. Also would be pretty hot if one girl was like designated like a Mistress of your harem where she's the only other one you allow to use the watch and she helps you recruit new girls.
It's just the way this story developed, Laura for me is unlikable because she's established as a bitch and despite the fact she could've (and I guess did eventually) just hypnotized everyone to have things go her way, she decides to treat everyone like shit first.

I would say the problem isn't that Laura managed to hypnotise the girls and MC, nor do i see the end of the update as drama...for me, it simply gets annoying, especialy the MC.

The problem at least for me is:
Laura is not a great strategist or a cunning mastermind, nor is there any kind of surprising plot twist, the whole ''drama'' is only possible because the MC is stupid as a loaf of toast and that for the last 3 updates, in this update he reached the lvl of a mental retarded...and if u play the 'long path' the girls (Leah,Ash,Grace and Daphne) which are with him, too.

I mean come on, MC (and the girls) learns Laura has stolen the watch, that she has hypnotised the girls, that it is possible to controll even via a phone call or video tape and after they barley get the watch back...yeah lets go drinking, eh undo Lauras controll ?..nah not important, lets go home, that can wait for an other day...oh a phone call from Laura lets answer it (MC or Leah)...

As long as the story is really only fun, this MC is bearable...but adding forced drama whit a brain death MC (and said drama only possible thanks to that) is simply annoying as fuck for me as player.
