Alright, I have an urge to respond to messages, so whatever, writing my responses half-awake xD Sorry if I miss anyone, I'll get back to you. I appreciate all sorts of comments, positive or not.
Resending the poll so it doesn't get lost regarding what game is better - Chimera or I SCREAM:

Artwork looks good and tags are up my alley. But sadly I won't play it, because of the amount of depressing stuff in it. I'm myself fighting every f**king day with my own metal illness, so I don't need that in the VN I play. I play these to get away from depressing stuff and escape reality for at least a while.
This is a good feedback for me so I appreciate it in any case. It was one of my worries as I was developing this title, I initially wanted to make it a bit of a dark comedy like Barry, and then I realized it's primarily the dark xD Take it easy, feel better, and thanks!
i'll give it a shot but it always sucks when a female character is killed cause then you know you wont end up with her. if it was a male friend the story would still have the dead friend as a plot line and no need to care about never adding them to harem.
It's a story of post-humanism, you can see from the screens that she comes back pretty quickly. The whole game concept is inspired by Thus Spoke Zarathustra.
why leave one relatively good game for this....
Check my poll in the above post for details xD But the one-word answer - scope. If I come back to Chimera, I'm gonna say to hell with it - and hire a 3D artist.
yep as expected...this was one big pile of nonsence. Sadly Mc cant die to get final ending for game :-(
Well, he dies in a way, but it would need more chapters to explain why.
Finished this first chapter. Really, really good start. The dialogue is strange and probably not intentionally strange, but it works really well in the tone and setting, so it's not even a negative. Very much looking forward to future releases.
Thank you for the breath of fresh air as I'm responding to the comments xD I really wanted to attempt something obscure, in a way to showcase the inner workings and inspirations I get from reading various existentialist works. Call it something like a short creative endeavor.
Looks interesting. I do like games making an effort(an actual effort) to create a context, tell a story.
It makes the whole experience so much more intersting, and, in this site's case, it's what differentiates the game from porn.
I'll probably leave this to ripen for a bit in by backlog, but it certainly has potential.
... or it could completely veer off the deep end, we will see.
Another breath of fresh air. I dislike a little that the porn medium is a bit too "talk fuck talk fuck" - and wanted to bring in a different angle..
Here, the angle is existentialism.
In the other game - it was action and morality.
Well, that's the nice thing about deving, you get to explore various things.
Right now, this feels like a student film.
Hehe, I know it's intended as a critique (unless I misunderstand), but it's a close take on the vibe I was going for.
The edge in this game comes off less "realistic abuse victim adapting to scary dystopian society" and more "SHUT UP MOM IM TRYING TO PLAY FORTNITE! *puts headset back on* *craaaawling iiiin my skiiinnn~*"
Anyway, best of luck dev, this one ain't for me.
I do like the comment, though. I feel like making it too realistic would turn it into a depression fest, that's why certain things are taken on a lighter take.
The entire cast need therapy.
Along with the developer xD

Alrighty, I'm gonna go back to bed, thanks all for providing feedback xD While it has more negative/neutral rather than positive sentiment, it still went better than I thought it would, so I appreciate everyone's words.
I'm gonna make a decision tomorrow about which one of the two games is better, and dedicate my efforts to one.
