i believe i am on 1.5. i started today with the game updated to current content and continued play from end of 1.2.save, anyway not sure on the spoiler issue (can't really say there is a way to spoil it) however; i ctd every time Jada is about to do her Talent Night act on the ship[. is this a known bug (as in the."you must replay 1.4 or crash"), or do i need to download again and start game from beginning kinda thing? (any other options might be nice) i mean it wouldn't be a totally bad thing because the game is great. But i got more games to play yet.

if you want good image quality, make a tests saving each scene with both .JPG and .PNG formats - while .JPG may produce smaller files in most photo situations (depending on % quality setting), sometimes the opposite can be true - especially when there is same color in most part of image. Plus .PNG produces generally better looking images as it's lossless ZIP compressed BMP while .JPG adds noise.

But, if your talking about the warning that you have to play version 1.4 again with this update, than it's only the case if you have a save from version 1.4 that was released as version 1.4... otherwise there is no need to play anything again

okay , so no idea why my game crashes when trying to view Jada's talent night dance.
i will try and redownload and install.
When I need perfect image accuracy, then I save with .PNG, but when I need smaller file size (even at cost of quality) then I save with both .PNG and .JPG and choose one manually as it's hard to predict which will give smaller size with current image - some trial is needed here. PNG format also can have different compression level, because it's ZIP. Reducing number of colors (used bits) also have impact on file size while sometimes it's marginal difference between 24 bit and 8 bit.Noted

There is note that using save before 1.4 can crash the game. You used save from 1.2 - so you have to start the game from beginning. Pretty decent with lousy definition of NTR. Not much with classic NTR meaning - losing love interest.

That's because the western definition is closer to cuckoldry and this forum/site, like many other sites uses that as the basis instead of the original japanese definition. Why they use the term at all, you might ask, well... most of the games on this site were Japanese and only the last few half a decade has seen a rise in western porn games, especially fan projects. Though many still use Japanese games as its engine.
Thus, I believe (I am not a mod, so keep that in mind) this site requires there to either be a scene with a love interest where the MC isn't part of and didn't consent to. Sometimes, some games will get a tag when the actions of a love interest or rival are either implied or provide a similar feeling, or clearly going towards it (Double Homework, for example, had it for a while, due to how Denis was written, although nothing ever happens).
Strictly speaking, you are right. But meaning and context changes all the time, and often people who dislike ntr also dislike any type of cheating done to them/their mc, thus, for practical purposes (to avoid the fetish), it works.
I will be the kind to answer this. Stacy is a new (probably temporary) character introduced with version 1.5 during contest when you are the judge who will win it. Wendy is her mother that offers you something in return for your vote. Those are 2 guest characters not involved with main story, so the question is if they will return or not?

Could you maybe share the crash log it gives you?
Either way starting over again will definitely fix the problem.
I guess there is some problems with a save from version 1.2
