To get to the path of love:
1) After talking to the Elves, you'll have a dialogue with her: agree with her.
2) In the previous episode, you had the opportunity to kiss her; do so.
After that, in the new episode, you'll get scenes with her on the path of love.Only decisions made during one's stay in the West are taken into account; everything that happened before that apparently has little significance.
If you're dealing with her libido issues, then you're on the lust route. The route itself being determined by the choice you made in the pool with Sera in the illusion. All of the other choices don't currently matter prior to that. As for if Lust or Love is better. It's really down to what you want out of the relationship. I don't think they'll differ much.

People prefer Sera saying directly that she loves and want Elis. Others might prefer the corruption aspect of it. Both lead to the same thing, really. Sera still loves Elis regardless.
Thanks to both of you, yeah at this point I won't restart it again, I've already done it twice, as long as it's consensual I'll be happy...

Just finished the update and I enjoyed it very much.
Storyline keeps me engaged & it feels unpredictable & keeps me guessing.
I'm looking forward to Chapter 2.

Though some things I noticed Lazy_Monkey :

1) On all routes;
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
I feel like this has to be Elis who speaks that initial line and is a name mistakenly put as Elin.

2) Support Cass in coup route (Green Crown)
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Uh, this is what appears in White Crown route (not supporting Cass's coup), so I don't think this should be appearing with Green Crown ending, but it somehow is.

Also another issue with the same ending,
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

No idea what the issue is here (again, Green Crown ending).

3) All routes - text being cut off by the screen.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

This isn't the first time this has happened. This game since beginning, had frequently been plagued with this issue of bottom text being cut. An sure, it's not something major like a game breaking bug, but it happens enough to be annoying and I do think something should be done to fix it.
I had the same bugs.

Lazy_Monkey

Another thing, and this is me asking for something which is absurd but just want to state it, but I apologize in advance as it is the kind of comment that really sounds like "please write the game how I LIKE IT". I am concerned of the choice of kill Cass. Given that she can no longer show up in routes, doesn't it generate incentives not to include her in paths even when alive, as it is simpler to just write a scene without thinking of having to write an alternative version.

I love the potential paths, but I am concerned of the incentives here, given she is not a side character but a main character, and in my opinion best girl.. Again, sorry for the "spoiled" concerned.

Anyway, I love the game and I have recently subscribed to it, amazing job!

Oh, by the way, I do hope Corina becomes a more regular girl, absolutely loved her.

You're really not giving Alaina enough credit here. How and why, would she not just leave out the parts of "Elven Intervention"? and instead just make up some bullshit other rumor that leaves her looking clean as a whistle and casts doubt on Elis father. All it takes is her desire to do so.
Dude, it was funny when it was jokes, but if we're being serious. You're letting your headcanon and fanfic blind you to what's actually happening in the game. Alaina can't twist the lie to blackmail Elis. Elis is part of her plan. He's the only chance for the elves. She tells him so herself. Destroying his legitimacy in any way is a death sentence for all elves. That's what you're either not understanding or refusing to understand. That's exactly why she won't reveal anything to the court. Even as she's dying. The fact that you're even trying to argue this just shows you're doing this in bad faith.

To show you how ridiculous your suggestion sounds.

Alaina - Do what I want or I'll whisper to the court that the King isn't really the king.

Outcome: Elis potentially losing his position, because he's the son of a usurper and some elven whore. Elves now lost the only person who'll be able to unite them. Since the marriage was invalid, the treaty with the elves is void. How does this help Alaina again? If you're going to say next that she can start over, with an elven conflict brewing. I'm just going to stop you ahead of time by telling you that it's ridiculous. Alaina loses everything there just like Elis.

This blackmail doesn't work at all. Even Elis should be able to see this himself. And again, she never used this information against him in the first place. It literally doesn't make sense for an elf to basically torpedo her own race chances by making their Elven jesus doubt them. Making up bullshit rumors is only your headcanon showing because you can't truly find a valid way for Alaina to blackmail Elis. She's just as tied to the King and Elis as they are to her plan. She ruins the king position, Elis dies. Then the elves dies next. Ruin Elis position specifically, elves die.

What do you mean "she didn't have to tell him shit?" :ROFLMAO: It was plain as day to see that she was clearly losing control of the situation due to the whole thing with Conrad, and Elis was starting to doubt her more and more. That's the only reason she revealed anything. Because she was threatened, and was losing control. And I don't think anybody has ever said "she was against him" unless I'm mistaken? it's that she's trying to puppet him and control him from the shadows. Again, Elis says as much if you pick the path against her. So it's a potential canon feeling Elis can have towards her, that the Dev himself has realised.
First off, try reading the full exchange of posts before jumping into someone else conversation. You're just making yourself look overly defensive and insecure about your choice you made. Second, she surely tried controlling Elis by letting him waste away in exile without trying to get him to be pro elven. An exile she did to protect him from the court politics with Sera blessing, by the way. Hell, by all accounts, Alaina was a horrible teacher. Since Elis didn't learn shit from her. And before you say it was intentional on her part. That wouldn't help her at all to control him. As can be seen with the current choices in the game.

As for Conrad part of the discussion, it's exactly like I said to the guy I was actually talking to. She revealed the information to show Elis that she's doing this all for him. That information isn't something that should be spread around easily. As like I said above multiple times now. This would completely destroy everything for the elves, if it spread. Not just Elis, Sera and the others. This includes Alaina herself. There's a reason Elis can choose to trust her after she tells him or exile her, if he has further doubts. A potential "canon" feeling doesn't suggest an overall feeling. Especially when said "canon" has more options to keep Alaina alive currently than to kill her. Either by exiling her, keeping the status quo or ignoring her entirely to focus on Conrad. Especially when compared to Cass, who has like 4 different ways to be killed.

And with the rest of your post below that. I already figured you weren't going to have anything meaningful to add. So I won't even bother indulging you with anything there. I'll just say the discussion has now reached a point where you clearly have shown you have a set way of viewing things and choose not to look anywhere outside of it. So I won't personally be discussing this topic with you going forward. I'm sure you'll conjure up a rebuttal. I'll read it. But I don't see any point in discussing this with you.

I missed Valeria, Josephine and Priscilla so badly in this update. They are my top 3 girls in this game and I know since they all are situated in the West, their appearance was simply not possible in this update and also looking forward to see the addition of Arcadia in Chapter 2 :BootyTime: still feel bad about people voting for Val instead of Arcadia for 1.1 update and look what you guys got? A freaking kiss :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
I am pretty sure if it was Arcadia then we would have seen a good amount of scenes with her.

This is what interests me the most, too. Initially, I thought the timeskip might be just a few months for whatever reason, but now that basically half the girls are pregnant, having them involved in the plot while waddling around with big bellies seems... troubling.

Either we get exactly that, or the timeskip for CH2 is longer, set right after all the children are born (with maybe a small prologue showing the pregnancies). Hard to say, because LM did kinda imply he would give us a chance to interact with all the women we get pregnant while they're pregnant.
Yep. Chapter 2 will definitely be interesting to see. On one hand, I want a big time skip so we can start interacting with our children. Like seeing Azalia at 4 trying to climb shit, spying on her mother. But on the other hand, I want to see the progression of the pregnancy. So I hope it's a bit of both.

What's with everyone picking on Aurora this update? Everyone just spent all her scenes calling her weak or dumb.
To be honest, are they wrong though? People have discussed this in the thread before the update and now the game pretty much validates that thinking even more. Aurora just was raised to be a loyal wife and mother of someone's child. Which is fine, if you're into that thing. But when it comes to ruling or political stuff, she's not fit for it.

I think it's a bit too far that even her daughter thinks she should be abandoned though. Even as a vision, that feels too cruel.

You know. I chose the option to maintain the status quo. Because Lady Alaina and Conrad will still be rivals and will control each other. P.S. I like Vel. If I had the chance, I would take her as a concubine and declare the children from this union dukes. And I would give the elves territory for settlement, create a vassal elven kingdom and start recruiting a personal guard from the elves (hello, the Swiss Guard of the French kings) and declare that this branch of his family has no rights to the throne. This is to prevent the precedent of the House of Valois-Burgundy.
Took status quo as well but your reasoning doesn't make much sense to me? Unless you've not had Alaina come to you and tell you the truth. Which you know is the truth because the Mistress allowed you to see the past where Priscilla's sister killed Regis and you never told anyone that you knew about it nor did anyone know that you knew. So she told you the exact things that happened in that vision. Due to this there is no need to upkeep any type of rivalry since Conrad is chasing something but will never find out the truth. However, picking Conrad to be taken out makes absolutely no sense since he's trying to protect the royal family, which is you. So the only logical option is to take status quo and later down the line make sure Conrad just stops chasing down Alaina.

Vel isn't nobility and for the Elves titles do matter even if MC wills her to hold some type of power in the human kingdom. She'd never be respected by the elves no matter what. If you want some type of hold in the Elven bloodline/kingdom there's probably some girl from an Elder that he could marry into if this cold blood thing with Aurora turns out to make her something that won't last and could potentionally re-marry like, ironically, Vel suggested/speculated.

Overall it would be nice if MC got a bit more of a personal squadron just to have in whatever situation. Doesn't make much sense that the MC(Prince), Elin(Princess) and Sera(Queen) go into all sorts of combat situations together as the most valued people in the entire kingdom. Especially since none of them besides MC grew up outside the castle and has a lot more life experience and was probably more of a rebel and sneak out.

It's more that I just felt kind of bad for her this update. I agree that she's not good at politics I just wasn't really expected her to get insulted by pretty much every character. She just feels disrespected, especially when compared to the Isis and Cass confrontation this update. Even with the queen scene it ended with the queen calling Aurora frail, but saying that she likes Isis's intelligence.

Didn't even need to read what you replied to, to understand that whomst you replied to made no sense. Absolutely agree with what you said and the people that think Alaina lost control are way off. It doesn't matter that MC was suspicious of Alaina and didn't trust her because he didn't need to make a single decision in regards to anything of importance that was in relation to her. Just because you don't trust someone doesn't mean that you should kill them or just get rid of them overall. That's some type of paranoid thinking. I picked all the options that made MC distrust Alaina just because I wanted to see if she'd start feeling vulnerable and finally admit her secrets instead of just having blind faith in the tutor for magic. Also I was privy to picking past with the mistress so I knew Alaina was speaking the truth once she visited MC and told her the full truth. That way it was super easy to pick status quo because neither was wrong in MC's perspective unless you're out to self hurt.

Anyways, probably shouldn't worry too much about people who don't understand or want to.

True. The Queen scene with Isis was something else. It felt more lively. Especially since they can relate to each other more with Southerners and Elves not being liked. Also Isis went straight for a kiss. Even though it was supposed to be hug lol. Now I'm not going to say Sera likes Isis more than Aurora. But Isis and her definitely seemed to get along with no issue.

I find this quite an interesting contrast

Marrying a girl like Aurora requires Elis to prove that he is mature enough to make his own decisions if he does not want the bad scenario like in the reflections to happen because basically, he has almost no political support from his wife, this is the type of play of a player who likes to control everything

And if you choose Isis or Cass, in some scenes, you will see Elis being overshadowed by his wife and sister, although he will be supported politically, however, not everyone likes to be a king or prince who is controlled or looks weak in front of women

bigger issue with isis is that she probably knows that Elin is having Elis's kids as shown in the dinner convo. so having her by our sides i fear an intra-family dispute in the future.

Yes, that's what I mean

Isis is too sharp and can make us feel that Elis is sometimes inferior, basically creating complete chaos, of course I would like that chaos in the "Red Crown" path

As for Aurora, as you said, she is weak, so she is completely easy to control and so the Elis don't need to worry about the rear at all, just make the right political decisions by growing up on their own, it would be good if you follow the "White Crown" where you want all decisions to be in the direction of control, causing less chaos and bloodshed in the kingdom

Since it seems like we will gradually re-establish the Empire and conquer all of the major kingdoms, I wonder how the choice of wife will be handled. For example if you chose to marry Isis instead of Aurora, then when we go to conquer the North will we meet Aurora there and have her as a potential love interest?

And Aurora mentioned having an elder sister who can't walk. I wonder if she will be a love interest too, and how it will be handled based on whether you choose to marry Aurora or not. If you marry Aurora, I'm sure she'd be vehemently opposed to Elis pursuing her sister, though perhaps she could be convinced given the sister apparently has no marriage prospects so Elis could potentially be her only chance at "love"?

I don't really agree when it comes to Isis. She doesn't control Elis. She assists him when she knows he needs the help. She gives him advice but doesn't overextend it. As she knows it's important for him to make decisions himself. And it's not like she makes Elis look weak by being competent herself. I don't even know how wanting a competent wife is a signal that someone wants to be weak and carried by their woman in the first place. What's wrong with your wife standing up for you? I would even say it's better to have a wife that can defend herself and her husband than one who can't do much of anything beyond existing.

I do agree with your sentiment when it comes to Cass though. I don't think it makes sense in general for Elis to leave everything to her and her allies. That's not something a ruler should do. But Isis isn't really like that. She mostly hangs back and let Elis do his thing.

I really like your perspective

Everyone has their own perspective, and what you said about Isis also convinced me

Overall, choosing Elis's marriage partner is like choosing how he will grow up before making the most important decisions that affect the whole thing related to the prophecies

Everything is still ahead and I look forward to how Lazy_Monkey makes this story memorable

Not only can Cassanda be dead/alive for the rest of the game's plot, but now Alaina or Conrad, too.

As much as it is exciting to have these impactful decisions possible, it is also scary; LM is hellbent (thankfully) on keeping this game on a 2-month development schedule, so these variables are making his job harder and mean less content for individual paths... unless their involvement in the plot is significantly reduced going forward, which diminishes the choice in the first place.
