Some Patreon news.

Hello there!

It's time for sharing with you some of the information about what's planned for the next version (0.7-alpha). We've also updated the roadmap. Finally, in the next post we'll include a preview for one of the upcoming locations - The Library!

Now, let's get to the meat of the matter. As you've probably noticed, the main plot in the last versions has almost stopped progressing while we were focused on polishing and fixing the existing content, alongside with several sweet additions we've made in the final iteration (0.6-final). But it's about to change with the release of the next version of the game.

This time, we've decided to focus most of the resources onto making the main plot deeper and more mysterious, partly resembling the events in HP books and movies. In order to achieve this we've had to modify the existing plot so that the events are more meaningful and don't just happen without any lead-up, like some of them do in the current plot. And while the current plot is fine we feel that it can be more interesting and close to the HP books and movies we all love, that's why we've decided to adjust it one last time.

So what exactly will be changed and how will it even work you ask? The good news is that we've got it covered already. The whole script of the game was already modified, and it will be changed and implemented gradually in parallel with the new additions. These changes will be demonstrated in the next version of the game, and we will of course adjust things based on the feedback of our players.

The update will utilize the Potions Class location that we showed you quite a while ago, alongside with two new ones that we will tell you more about during the following weeks. Several new characters will appear in the game as well. We also plan to add three new plot-related minigames to make things more interactive.

And of course, it's not only about the plot, right? The new version will have new sexy interactions with the existing characters as well as with the ones that will be introduced during the story. This will include interactions with characters' idle poses and miniatures, and, as always, a CG scene.
Oh goody. More mini-games. I swear to God it's like these people think they're making Mario Party. Constant mini-games is a bad thing.

Please don't lie. There is sex content in the game. Blowjobs, handjobs and actual sex with one of the girls. So please. Don't misinform people.
If I learned anything from all the threads on incest games I lurk, it's that if it's not between two family members, it's not real sex and thus doesn't count.

Originally, I was just going to make this joke, but come to think of it, since so many people are perving on Hermione, I'm starting to think they replace "family" with "Griffindor".

what is actually meant by "FINAL" ?

6.1 was FINAL and now this version too - does it mean it won't progress by version .6?

No, that means there won't be a 6.2 update anymore. Next update will be 6.3.

It's like people don't understand version numbers anymore. Anything before the finished product will start with a 0. Any significant updates will add 1 to the number after the first dot (meaning 0.1, 0.2 and so on). Minor updates will add 1 to the number after the second dot (0.4.1, 0.4.2 and so on). Once a product is finished, it will change from 0 to 1. Any updates following this (remember, this is software, so just because it's finished doesn't mean it can't be updated anymore) will add behind the dot again (1.2.1 or something). Do note that the second number behind the dot is a version number and not a decimal so a 0.9 doesn't mean the next version will be 1, but 0.10.

So, in this case, the next update will not be 0.6.2.1 but 0.6.3. I hope this clears it all up.

"It's like people don't understand version numbers anymore"

I do work in DevOps pushing products, I have never seen the use of "final" attached to versions. I do understanding versioning, I simply don't understand "FINAL" being added, that is all.

Thanks for the clarification, still very odd to me but at least I now understand the logic.
