Well, I gave the game another shot tonight, and I used cheats to bypass the grind. Gotta say, I loved the game a LOT more -- a LOT more. I did think the writing was great when I first played it, and it still is. The jokes in the writing caused me to laugh out loud at a few points. And bypassing the grind really let me enjoy the story and the smut much, much better, to the point where I have to look at becoming a supporter now.
Question for anyone who knows: I see Endurance as a maximum of 4. I can just use cheats to increase Endurance, but then it shows 10/4, potentially breaking the game. How do you raise the Endurance *cap*? Not the stat itself, but the maximum amount allowed?
Edit: Alright, to hell with it. This game deserves at least some support. I can't promise long term, but at the very least, I'll become a supporter for this month. We'll see how my finances are in the future.
It's not only about being extreme, it's about being in legal rights to use HS models. In short - not a chance.
TC is still technically a game with gameplay and then some nsfw content.
Mine is more like: porn animations tied together with repeatable porn-events. I don't think it'll be allowed. But (see above) it doesn't matter.
Menu animations have low to no relatability(?) to the game. It's just a fun way to fill the space.

went back again, theres something about this game. i keep coming back for a second and even sometimes third playthrough while i wait for the next update release

I want to partly remake the very first phase of Gloria's interactions (when you can only send porn links to her), place repeatable events to the camera, rearrange buttons and maybe add something small. The goal is to make the start of the game (what new players see first) less annoying and clunky. I also want to do an alt-intro (a shorter version of my kinetic-novel part).

The way the gallery currently works is super annoying, with all the menus and sub-menus. Once the game is closer to being complete, I'll do it a proper way, with grid and mini-pictures and stuff. This is a utility thing, so not really a priority right now.

I've made an ULTRA compressed version of v0.7b. I'll be looking forward to the v0.8 public update! I like the whole aspect of everything being animated unlike most other Ren'Py games. Ngl it was a bit of a hassle resorting all the video files, but worth it to save even more space. Handbrake is pretty good at VP9 encoding that's for sure, although the quality is noticeably down a few notches.
Edit: As noted by AdventAnyx, the dev, The quality is definitely subpar and may hinder the experience due to those murdered frames.
I tested a bunch of scenes, and they seem to be working just fine.
If it breaks for certain scenes, it was not intentional and should use the official version or lossy version instead!

Damn, that's a lot of efforts, to sort this by hand
I gave it a quick try and there's this weird thing: the first ~3 frames of every animation have murdered quality, but then it's quite decent. Most of the animations are at least 4-6 seconds, so you have this quality-drop every loop, it's distracting. If not for those ~3 frames-per-animation, this repack could be ideal for its size.
On the topic of virus-detection, this should no longer be a problem with v0.8, as I used the latest Renpy build for it.
Do you mean step 5, like in the Journal entry it says "5"?
At 5 you should just end the day and a small-talk will trigger at the start of a new one.

Yeah, a large portion of the videos weren't done in Two-pass encoding when I coulda sworn I enabled it. I can tolerate the dip in quality mainly cuz I'm the one that did that, but if the dev themself thinks it's distracting then I'm inclined to believe it actually is. As for the Virustotal situation, alright thanks for the clarification. I found it rather odd, but makes sense why antivirus programs would be sensitive to such code for the 32-bit launcher.
