On a more serious note, though, good luck. I suspect there's a lot I'll enjoy here, even if I don't like the MC's design (for other more personal reasons that aren't worth sharing).

However this is not really a super important part of the story and it never gets in the way of a beleavable worldbuilding.

At least not for me. At least not for a porn game.

But I appreaciate that the dev is actually trying to create a world filled with some lore that feels familiar but also a little different.

You have to start a new game.
I had the same issue. I didn't restart the game because the message in it said about chapter 5, and as I had already start a new game when playing chapter 5, I didn't understood I needed to start again.
But not a big deal, with the skip button, it takes a couple of minutes.

To be fair, the warning in the game speak about changes in chapter 5.

So I was thinking that we have to restart the game in chapter 5.
As I remember having doing so, I was thinking it wasn't needed with chapter 6.

But, I have an excuse as I only have an amphibian brain. All the mammals here have a more advanced one and should understand the warning better. :LOL:

I adore you hun but it says in bright red letters you must start a new game under the part you highlighted.
