I haven't played the new update yet (waiting for the WT mod) but reading about Erynn hopefully you're just speculating, and it's not really what you say. (I hope..) It would have spoiled my opinion of her a lot, and I wouldn't want to have anything to do with her then.I have to agree with the notion of Emily being shitty as fuck. She gets knocked up by one guy (Santiago), starts to date another (Andres), who hates the one knocked her up before that, like how he reacted when he found out who he is. Then has the galls to blame him for reacting how he does, while he is actually right to do that, then while being pregnant she decide to goes clubbing and then hooking up with her new friend (Melissa). Both of them act like Andres had something to apologize for, while in reality he didn't. Then she patches things up with him, but then she starts to meet up with Santi again.
While meeting up with your child "daddy" isn't necessarily a bad thing, but given the circumstances, it was a stupid and dick thing to do. Andres was really MC's father, even without the blood relation, through all those years, and he had a weak point about the whole thing, hence the promise, and despite that she meeting up with Santiago was pretty much a knife in the back. While I don't want to defend the present Andres at all, he's a dick, it's no wonder he flips and becomes one. I mean, given all the shit that he's been put through, most would become like that as well.
On another note, clearing up the air about Erynn WAS THE RIGHT DECISION, it was high time for that, so props for it. Although given the nature of the game, it seems like she's most likely a "hooker" (fucks for modelling jobs), and Ethan is her pimp, probably through some blackmail, so there's the drama again.
By the way the possibility of blowing Alexis up in front of Layla is quite funny, but she's pretty much the only one that doesn't deserve so much shit as the others.
Ps.: The Nikki thing was a low-blow with Julia.
Though one true love for me anyway.. it's Alexis.
There were a hint about that around the second update, when they went to the club, the best friend said a few things, and then there was Erynn appearing from the VIP section, being reluctant to talk about it, and then her inner monologues about being in a shitty situation around update 3.

It's just a guess. Dev might surprise us yet.
But if it turned out to be true that Erynn was a hooker (maybe still is), I wouldn't even want to be with her anymore. I wouldn't have to do another save especially for her.

This is a well done story, with complex and interesting characters, but there is a point where it's relying a bit too much on characters witholding information and refusing to talk. The problem I have with the overuse of that is that at this point whenever something important happens that has even 0.1% to be misunderstood/miscontrued etc, then I'll just brush it off, like "K, that happend, I don't know everything, the person refuses to talk or explain what happens, let's move on.", and it just lessens the impact so much for so many scenes.
Erryn meeting with Ethan? K, I don't know why that happens, all that will be explained for her "redemption" so it isn't like it looks, doesn't matter. Dude puts his hand on her ass after the phone call with the MC, "K, that will also be explained"
Andres spotted with a woman and later accused of cheating, he won't completely deny it, but of course he won't admit it either, so obviously it will be explained later how we have misunderstood everything again. And so on, and on..
I feel like this mechanic is getting a bit overused in my opinion. This being a WIP story probably has a hand in it, but I think it would have the same effect on the way I perceive the events even if it was a completed work, because I'd know the answer to why this is happening is not coming in 2 months but a few hundred images later
Hopefully this is not understood as a complaint but maybe this is not effect the dev desired? I also could be the only one with this impression, so ignore me if so

Bit too much back story for my liking & still suffers a bit from massive end of relationship overreactions or everything is fine choices with nothing much in the middle even for relatively minor decisions.

Well people doing stupid things is a part of life and yeah you can easily hurt those you care most about with those things and that has consequences also for yourself. Agreed though that she is more in the stupid category as evil, but she already paid a price a few times for her actions. It is still Erynn I worry about a lot more if I was the MC, since it is still not sure if she moved on and got her shit at least somewhat in order. (Main one getting that shit out of her life
).

Well I am a bit less of a white knight. I am not against helping people that want help, but wanting help starts with taking action yourself and taking responsibility for your own actions. Yep there goes my main girls erynn down the drain and alexis too much drama on the that path .... nevermind this game is way too much drama and brain damage. Might stick around once in a while to see what happens with nikki and layla but knowing nyx next update will probably reveal nikki jumped right back into her douchebag ex-boyfriend arms when mc left and layla will be revealed as a manipulative bitch who sleeps with all new cute boys then dumps them.
