Here's something interesting about Adriana Moore's story that at first didn't make sense at all until it almost did.
- Emily met Melissa when Erryn had already been born and Emily was pregnant with the MC
- Emily was living in the dorm with Adriana Moore, the mother of Alexis and Layla ("Meet my friend. Adriana, Melissa. Melissa, this is Adriana, my roommate.")
- Alexis is about the same age as Erryn, Layla is about the same age as the MC
- This means that at the time Emily met Melissa Adriana had already given birth to Alexis and was dating Layla's (and most likely Alexis') father
So how come Emily and Adriana haven't bonded over being young mothers?
Well, Adriana wasn't really a proper roommate ("Yeah. She is, but she's never here. Except for studying for her exams."). She was living with her parents and Alexis (or her husband and Alexis) and was using the dorm room to study in peace. She kept being a teenage mother a secret from Emily ("She has 2 daughters." - "No, can't think of anyone."). And when Emily came back to college after giving birth to the MC ("I left school for a while because of the pregnancy") she and Adriana were no longer roommates, with Adriana taking her own leave to give birth to Layla.
There's just one thing that doesn't add up. The MC is barely 18 ("I turned 18 a few weeks ago."), and Layla must be 18 too because it's a porn game. So Layla is exactly the same age or a bit older than the MC. Surely Emily must've noticed Adriana's bump. How come they haven't bonded over their pregnancies and stayed in touch?
