I just realized as a member of the short-hair gang, that intertwine legit has a hair stylist and they don't use her other than to cut Mc's hair :cautious:
So she does have *some* business beyond the MC, just not a lot. Really only hear about one paid day cutting hair. Must be more of a hobby than a need for the income.

Emily does say that Mel cut her hair when you she picks you up at the bus stop, way back in the beginning of the story. Likely not a paid job.

Just prior to the modeling gig, and Erynn's nervous poop, she tells the MC she is going to cut hair. Probably one of the only paid gigs she has. Erynn tells MC she likely has a whole day of hair cuts booked, and a paying job(s).

When MC gets his most recent hair cut, after the Erynn bath tub scene, she asks Emily about a trim and Emily agrees. Again, not likely a paid job.

It's a first-person narrative. You see almost nothing that isn't from the MC's perspective (hedging, in case I forgot about a random scene or two where he isn't present...) so it's unlikely that he would see Melissa cutting anyone's hair, unless it was Emily perhaps, or someone else close to him. Likewise, there's not too much need for discussion of it, beyond what cooldevo pointed out, because it's simply not relevant to anything else that's happening.

Melissa is also Layla's hairstylist, and as mentioned, on one of the few times it's brought up, she says she is fully booked. Sounds like a full-time job, or thereabouts, to me.

They're not secure and in times where some leakers put malware in their leaks you shouldn't take any risks.

The actual version is 0.13.2. Maybe you should just get this version and start new. So you can also see the changes in the early game.

You are right, although I'd caveat it as a *mostly* first person. Nyx has us look into thoughts, moments, or scenes, that the MC wouldn't know about.

You do get to 'hear' thoughts some of the people are having, such as the dilemma Lexi has with herself when she finds out who MC is in the early chapters, for example. Even getting glimpses into Mel's dreams if she fantasizes about the MC. But the use cases seem to be more purpose driven to tell the stories.

There are also a few scenes where the MC isn't present, but we still get to see. Most obvious being the more contentious retelling of Emily's date with John to Mel. MC wasn't there yet, but gets to hear the retelling. Same with at the end of the update with the Ethan/Zach conversation. Also what happened inside the bar as part of John's plan and audible with Erynn. But again, most of them are for driving the plot and stories forward. It'd be much more interesting than jsut seeing the MC sit in the car for 10-15 screens worth of time while John is inside.

It's double avoidable, if you have enough Emily points and tell her you don't want her dating John then she won't date him. If you don't have enough points with Emily (because you've been perving on her) and/or you don't mind her dating John but don't want to see it then you can skip the scene when you're talking to Mel.
I was in that camp, didn't mind her dating John because he seemed cool, which is rare in NPC males in AVNs and doubly so in Nyx's game. But, I never imagined that dev time would be wasted on rendering and animating that relationship.

And especially the pettiness with the last 2 updates taking the incest baiting to 11 to the point the MC started having impure thoughts about his mom and the cucky undertone the reveal was edited with, having the goofy clueless MC coming all smiley 3 seconds after his mom finished describing John and his big cock fucking her in all positions, JUST after him having another incest baiting monologue. The level of pettiness for no narrative benefit whatsoever, just screwing with the players. :KEK:

Same way the Valeria - Gym Bro - Darryl phone call scene was directed and edited last time, with the MC portrayed as insecure and weak, listening on the phone how the girl that allegedly likes him, after being dominating and demanding with the MC earlier that day is suddenly submissive and accepts the invite and touches from his rival.

Another scene with the only purpose to rile the audience as much as possible. It even contradicted Valeria's entire storyline so far in the game, with her being tired about people touching her and even rejecting Darryl twice(violently last time)...just for that scene. The same sequence of events could have took place, just have the phone call after the gym bro ass slap and Darryl beach invitation, but then it wouldn't have the same undertone, would it?

Its stuff like this that makes me regret devs getting too big to fail, because they will never prioritize fucking with the audience and character damaging fan favorite characters just to screw with the playerbase if they were just starting up.

So, circling back, now I go back and make all my saves John free, since I don't care for the dev' boner for screwing with the players. Will probably make them Brooke free also, once is revealed that she a dominatrix nutjob that fucks the mom while the MC is listening next door. :HideThePain:

I hope that we get the opportunity to steal the scholarship from him, even though the MC doesn't really need it.
Another douchebag MC choice to add to the pile.
I hope we can wear the Alexis Cap, turned backwards, while doing so!

I knew it didn't seem quite right, which is why I added the caveat to cover myself. Not properly thinking about it, of course I missed two of the most prominent scenes from the latest update

We don't follow everything they do, just some convenient moments, often to tease us about what's next.
And sometimes they just mention things they did off screen(i like these details, characters having a life outside the screen).

This episode was full of little tidbits from others.
Val running into Ethan.
Val going out with her mom if you stand her up.
Erynn running into Mr Donovan(and they know each other).
Lakeyin and Alexis keep talking after the MC leaves.
Mira breaking up with her BF.
The whole Emily recounting her date.

I'm thinking buy a good camera and make our own photos to go in the wall.
Back when we got a bike she said this would be a good idea for a gift and i agree.

Plus some photos that can't go on the walls  .
