Short on time so I haven't downloaded the "media files". The first "the latest work-in-progress", fixed the problem. I can now equip and unequip armor without problem. Thanks for the quick fix!

It is a game where you're a man living in "Eternal Rome", a city where slavery is legal. It's up to you to climb the social ladder step by step, beginning in a slum, then buying an apartment anywhere you want in the city, according to your tastes. But you need money. Luckily, you can do like any person wanting to become rich: buy cheap slaves, turn them into expensive goods, sell them to a buyer. For that, you need to train your slave to become good enough according to the demand of the market: some like maids, some want nurses, others want musicians, or even a girl to have sex with.

The date of release for next version should be imminent... now we're just waiting for Lokplart to sign in and merge the alpha branch with the beta branch, so we can offer you v2.2 Pre-Release n°5 (which is bond to be the last before the official stable release).

It's taken me this long to notice that the game was still being developed here. I thought that development had just died with Hongfire and also that one dude on 8ch who was trying to remake it all on his own.

God I hope! For now we're trying to go straight to a stable version. We're fixing the last oddities, making several runs of the game to make sure we aren't forgetting anything. Then we make tiny changes so we do other runs to make sure the change hasn't broken anything in other places... It's a tedious process but we are at the end of the tunnel

Edit: It's going to be a bit more complicated... we found a lot of oddities since. Bugs that were induced by typos back in original 1.21 and overlooked ever since (causing the standard of living not to work as intended). And the obedience requirements for each lessons/rules/actions were really not thought out logically. Also these god damn black lines in full screen! Now we've fixed almost all that, so we're still near the end of the tunel, but we've also go to test it extensively.
But a worse thing is that there are some bugs seemingly caused by the engine and that our "engine specialist" here is overwhelmed by his own work in personal life so he can't work it out as quickly as he'd like.

Anyway, I apologize, but I hope you guys can understand that we're working on it every single night. We're far from being lazy ^^ Just a bit prone to sidetrack because of OCD and wanting to flatten asperities ^^

There are in-game cheats accessible through the options menu, obedience difficulty settings adjustable the same way, and customizable starting conditions.

Obedience difficulty is in the options menu, gear icon at the top of the screen. Cheats are accessible from there too, but only if you pick Custom Start and Easy game difficulty.

Isn't there any convinient way to put up your own images for the sex acts, characters and such where i dont have to name the files some arbirtrary sorted way? Wouldn't it be so much better for the game to read files inside a folder, of whatever sex act they're part of, instead everything being in one folder with "xbodytype_haircolor_age_horoscope_favsong_birthday.png" pics all over the place?

This is not arbitrary. This is classified so the game only will load pictures that look like the slave you are training. If we do like you say and just make the game read any picture independently of its name, you will see a milf with pink hair doing a blowjob even though you're training a blonde loli.

We've already improved that system over the original game, in which even the eye color was a criteria (it was a mess).

In 2.2 dev' version, it's even further improved upon; the game reads images in the folder automatically, instead of having to write each picture filename into a json file for each concerned slave.

Furthermore, also in 2.2, there's a "picture modding" folder. Never used it, but it should make the process even faster.

Are there any guides or wikis for the game? I started playing yesterday and there seems to be an overwhelming amount of things I have no idea how they work. For instance, I read an aura, but have no idea what any of that meant and no idea where to find info about it.

Yes there's a wiki, you can click on "loli patch" in the OP and that redirects you to a page of the game's wiki.

But! You don't actually need it. You can guess what the aura means or even find informations about in-game (in the technological part of the Serpentine quarter, there's a cyborg-girl...)
