Are you referring to the original works? If so, then yes, there is the dom situation coming up from the hospital, depending on what you choose. But that probably isn't going to be in the next update.

The sub / dom other content is yet to be released in the game (It is in the beginning phase though and will most likely just get a big drop and not require two or three updates to complete.

I predict some serious scope creep problems for this game. What I mean by this is the first choice is 5 extremely different scenarios. Each of which is different enough from the others to be it's own game. So, each story will be 20% of a story of what it could have been. So, instead of 1 hole 10 feet deep it is 5 holes 2 feet deep each. Which means each story will lack sufficient depth to satisfy the player.

Better would have been perhaps to merge certain stories. I'll give some examples.

The first choice's 5 choices are:

"Debt Owed" "Looking for a Job" "Revenge" "Defense Attorney" and "Gym Buddies".

There are no reason that some of these could not or should not be combined.

Is it possible for a defense attorney to also go to the gym? Absolutely! Why not combine that into 1 longer story segment?

How about "Debt Owed" and "Looking for a Job" there is nothing wrong with combining those too. The debt owed could be a path where you don't make enough money after getting that job, or you get fired.

"Revenge" can also be included as a possible segment branching off of one of the other stories.

So structurally the game has a very wide build, but not a tall enough build.

It reminds me of those CHYOA games where it is like 100 branches, but nothing more than 3 or 4 choices deep in all of that clutter.

or just "Spread too thin too soon".

I mean theoretically it's possible to build both wide and tall, but rarely is it seen in practice. There is no "Shared Core" that these stories connect with. It's just like 5 little trees.

I mean the renders are decent, and it's not written bad, it's just spread so thin.

This particular AVN whilst might look daunting and as you say, appears to be spread too thin, there is no content currently added or waiting to be added, that hasn't been finished.

I absolutely agree with you in terms of how these particular stories could have been one, bit "Series of Events" was never written or intended to be that way, which is why you are thrust right into the stories. In hindsight, I should have began with "Origins" and moved onto the rest before releasing this, but as it was my first foray into this, I didn't want to cock anything up. (Like the skin for example, the small render size for another) these things have been addressed and resolved for "Origins" which is being made in tandem with "SoE"

I don't know if I answered anything there for you, or perhaps created more questions?

Edit: knew I would miss something, when I wrote this story, or collection of stories. I had already wrote the 27 preceeding stories and these were scenarios that whilst I thought of them, would jot them down, but they didn't fit into any of the others.

You mean you should have startet with SoE, but should have released it afterwards, right? Since SoE is your training ground.
I think I get your point, but it would be also diappointing to have to wait longer for your games without any release (since you would have stalled Origins until you would have secretly written SoE), the visual quality would go down from Origins to SoE and you would have lacked the feedback from the early SoE-stages.

So, you have to die at least one dead, but yeah, I think you chose the right one .

You are right, in that I've learnt a lot through this process, and I haven't claimed anything different, this AVN was designed for me to get my feet under the table, learning DAZ and Ren’Py, communicate with the audience and maybe, one day, do it full time.....

The reason I was thinking I should have started with "Origins" is because, that will be released before "SoE" finishes and I expect, there will be a lot of questions regarding sequal, not finished first game and so on (But that was always the intention and documented on Patreon) "SoE" won't be abandoned, there is just so much content to add and unfortunately, by not making my life any easier, is displayed in a way that not a lot of people like or have come to expect from a standard AVN.

Thanks for explaining. I think you will be fine - but I will wait a little before I further play your game because I like at least halfway finished games. But my first "test" was very interesting and your posts keep it interesting.

Well, not bad for a beginning. You picked the most hardcore scene there was, right? It will create a strong interes, but might put some users into a wrong direction.

Optically, there are two things that catch my eye: The main text and the girl seem to bite each other. Maybe it is becaus the text is not aligned in the middle, maybe because the text overlaps with the most interesting part of the picture. Have you tried to put the text a little to the left? Or even put the "Jessica's" to the far left and the "choiches" to the far right?

Oh, and I just realised: You've got a typo in it .

The second point is that the logos below seem to be a little asymmetrically compressed, but this might be my bad eyes tricking me.

Oh my god! how did I miss that typo. I have instantly deleted it. I'll try a few different things tomorrow. I'll probably use a different image. I wanted to create a rain effect but alas, everything beat me.
