Yeah I'm not sure I even understand the intent of the premise? 99% of the game is you walking around and watching other random people have sex. Felt like the convolution of the friend's gender hiding wasn't necessary at all to the story lol. But then if you get caught the 99% vanilla game has an extremely out of place over the top brutal sequence of events on the girl. Weird game

Haha, it really is. Like, even as someone who likes those brutal scenes it was jarring seeing the main dude just give up finding his missing friend so easily lol.

If her discovery rate is high when you end the day, the game will ask you if you want to reduce it. Say yes, and the NTR route will progress. You wont see any actual scenes until late in the route though (basically at the end).

thinking logically, if i was ao and found an axe while looking for hinori after the suspiscion scene i'd start cutting villagers down until they relented, or burned it all down.

Absolutely, you dont even have to wait. You get what looks to be a machete on the first day. And If I cant find her or find out what they've done to her, I would do my very best to kill everyone in the village, no matter how long it takes or how much subterfuge or even luring the beasts of the forest to the town if necessary.
