This time went for K4 to K3 with a good sub Kaine and evil olivia and I'm finding the sexual tease between sub Kaine and Olivia a lot more interesting than on the dom Kane path where they were basically fine with getting naked and sexual right next to each other from the getgo. There were a couple of scenes with olivia getting trained by or working out with kiyomi/other vipers along with kane & friends that were pure tease & denial for that ("she's so close, will she or won't she?").

How far does Olivia go sexually with men other than Kane? Aside from getting her pussy licked by random slaves I've only spotted her briefly touching Seth's dick and putting Zach's cockcage between her tits during those viper workout sessions. Does she ever tug or suck anyone other than Kane? Any full on BG sex?

At K3 (and I assume all the other sub ranks) it's a bit of a shame how some characters like Veronica say you actually enjoy being a sub/getting dommed, doesn't seem to allow you much of a roleplaying opportunity to just say all that shit is being forced on you.

Aside from pegging guys or getting licked there is nothing for Olivia with other guys yet (aside from trampling and stuff). Not even with sub Kane. And yes the game sometimes implies that K4 or lower rank Kane is a sub. Answers were he can actually call out bullshit or defy somebody are extremly rare and very often not received well. Most dommes seem to want complete obedience, not intelligent slaves. Veronica is a rare exception here in the first clinic scene, in which Kane actually can confront her that getting obedience through pain is pretty cheap and she agrees with him ... but afterwards it is basically always getting obedience through pain or threat of downranking which implies his death longterm .
You could argue that Dominique wants a more intelligent Kane in the Junko pet route, but I think that is more intelligence + extreme obedience to her. And good Olivia tells him that she likes it when he actually speaks his mind sometimes, but only when she is kinda sure nobody listens to them right now.
Even though it is still very rare that we see thinking from him where he actually enjoys something, exceptions are of course when his dick is actually involved, but that could also just be natural reaction to stimulation . The big outliner here is the Veronica sub romance scene that he definetly enjoys.

I think the k1 scene is fine for what it is, testing the waters, not going full throttle, that’s normal for a creator introducing “dead ends” like this just to see how the reception is, so I’m not putting that much stock into it, so I didn’t personally disapprove of it.

but that’s just me and honestly I kinda like the differences of knowing a certain thing based on criteria… for know k1 Kane is the only one the knows Callista is alive, in which being more opportunities for something unique to happen that you might not see in the other rankings… I mean k1/2 different than k3 and k3 will be different than k4 in the future… and just cuz he has no agency now doesn’t mean he won’t have it in the future…

Happy to disagree here with your first point. But overall the K1 stuff is not what I really enjoy. Not the biggest fan of dying and stuff . I mostly watch it for my completionist brain. I just hoped it would invovle more infos about what is happening besides his death, but yeah maybe that will change in the future.

And I guess he will get agency later in the game and of course it is an intresting twist that K1 Kane actually has more informations than any higher ranked Kane. The question is just if anything will happen with this information.

Any information, especially with a k1 Kane is valuable… obviously it’s up to the player to act on that stuff for Kane but knowing that information will give players choices for him to act upon… we’ll just have to see what situation gives him an opportunity.. whatever it is it’ll be to the player

Not important in terms of gamey puzzles perhaps, but in terms of narrative and character development it's the dramatic highlight of the game so far, it should've completely changed the K1 Kane.

It's the ultimate betrayal for the K1(pro) Kain who likely ended up in that rock bottom position due to being kind towards others and refusing to bend to the karlsson's cruelty - due to the way he was raised to be. Right as he's about to be killed for it he learns that his own mother is not only alive but also deliberately left him to the wolves who are about to end his life, that she knew and put him in that position. That should be the character's turning point, if he was kind and honest due to a strong moral compass she instilled in him before he should now become callous, manipulative and vengeful after that as he finally ditches his old self and begins his slow ascent. Real baptism by fire.

The betrayed K1 Kane who came back from the brink of death at the bottom of the pit has way more people on his shitlist than the K4 one who easily asskissed his way to K5+ after a day or two, it makes for way better drama. Hoping the game eventually lets you roleplay something to that effect.

Well at least let it be some chicks feet . But yeah ass is also very nice.
Haha, yeah well It just felt kinda pointless, but if that's what she wanted it to be, a little easter egg on the side, then that's ok. Maybe I just felt so dissapointed because it was the first game over after so much gameplay. If something like that happens, especially for the first time, I would just like it to have more meaning. But again I am most likely not the K1 focus group .
The only thing that really bothers me is that Kane dying early basically fucks up Alexanders plan. And I feel that he would have a plan for this too. He said he would rather let his empire fall if his game is not completed and with Kane out of the picture ... there is no gambit.
So yeah it feels unsatisfying to me because it doesn't actually give any closure to the story at all. If this would be an rpg or shooter or something, then yes dying is just part of the gameplay. But in a Visual Novel I would like it to have actual consequences for the narative.
To get back to my Shadow over Blackmoore example, the game overs have the purpose to show you how dangerous the world of the game is. There are so many, that it shows you just one wrong step is basically the end of the MC.
KG doesnt have the same dangerous feeling for the most part. Yes of course K1 feels more dangerous than K4 or even dom path, duh. But you can never fuck up enough to actually get killed. And even here it is not Kanes fuck up in this scene particular. Its just the incompetence of the women and ingame Tess mood, that kills him.

Yeah but sub Kane will stay sub Kane. Your idea sounds like a great revenge story, but for that to really work he would need to get the ability to switch into dom territory. Starting with the ass kissing now to ascend seems to be not right for a man who feels so fundamentally betrayed. I mean if he finds the joy facility self destruct button, that basically nukes everybody into oblivion and he thinks: 'Oh yeah great idea to press that button!' I would totally dig it for a completly broken Kane. But I dont think this button exists .
So well yeah a good sub Kane K1 heel turn sounds like a great idea, but it would also negate all the good/evil points up to this point.

Well, I found this phrase on the contrary quite funny and capacious...By the way, pay attention to the logical inconsistency when Good (or Grey) DomKane starts dialog with Good Olivia and Alessa (URM at that moment just triggers and shows some conditions for Demoness scene)..And coming from GoodLiv, it sounds doubly absurd.

Yea Liv is pretty much wifey material at this point as she's making sure people respect him. For those complaining about the lack of respect that Kane gets, Olivia apparently heard and addressed said complaints this update. ( the throne, making her cousin address kane correctly etc.)

I understood what you meant lolz.

But yea Kanes evolution is a sight to behold. That scene with Dom where he was talking to her like she was his equal was great. I also like the way he pretty much figured out that Yvette was the likely head of the revolution based solely on veronica saving Liam. I can feel him going more alpha, Liv turning more submissive and dom no longer even trying to hide her good side.

So we now have everybody at everybody else's throats. Kane's harem is growing but i see a potential Lilly vs Gemini feud in the future. The Dekocks are backing the revolution (hopefully my kane can relieve Nadia of those stupid thoughts).

Questions for the future : Who was Star talking about? My guess would be Astrid, Star is probably the woman that made that suit for her. What did Dom want to do to Alessandra to make Alessandra want to kill her? How will cole and callista react to what Kane has become. Especially if he's evil. Seems like that would be antithetical to their motives.

This is correct, should be in chapter 4 as dom. But climbing up from K4 or K3 to K5 or K6 in the first Olivia ranking scene should also trigger the possibility for secretsub. In the Alessandra one on one pool scene you can decide if you want to follow it or not.

Ähhm but you just said its basically extra scenes, so do you think it will actually be acknowledged that he knows outside of K1 scenes? And if K1 is meant as a dead end it also doesnt really change that much, except if you go K1 route for the game show and then move up after the game show again. It would be easier to just reveal that Callista lives to all sub Kane ranks before it becomes relevant again.

Wait. Is it possible to got Alessandra secret sub path as K9? Because I'm replaying now and don't see the option.
