It has no animations, it's noticeable and hurts the games visual appeal a lot despite having good looking models.

The revenge path was briefly entertaining but can't say I enjoyed the story generally speaking, most of it was pretty boring and while I can tolerate a bit or plot relevant ntr I don't like it and I don't like that it can't be avoided despite having multiple versions of the scenario.

Very short game but since I didn't like it that was probably for the best.

@Jerry_Snow it dosn't really need a walkthrough or mod just pick some choices play to the end then start over and pick different ones, it's short and there arent many choices to go through.

We will try to do better next time.

There is a walk through as mentioned. Don t be dissuaded by my attempt to make people play without it.
The game has quite a few foreshadow parts that players who take it seriously can pick up on.
As example you are warned previously on going the neutral route, if you care for Clara.

I believe it s a much better experience played attentively, instead of a walk through.
But I don t want to sound like EA here with a sense of purpose and achievement…

There are more sex scenes within the game besides those two. This game also takes more than one play to unlock all the content of it as well.

The out of beta release will include an ending screen and a replay-gallery. Should make it much easier to see if you missed something.

EDIT: Never mind my previous answer. You'll reach if you have failed first, follow them up, but end up on the romance route later on.
Will see if I can adjust, to make it easier to reach it.

Yesterday we uploaded the final version of Karma to patreon. There are no changes or big updates. Just some love to our patrons.

No, but by far the biggest. About 15 small animations. Most are fully done in Blender. To even get to this point took us a while..
It also adds a small scene for Tom, fixes a few grammar things and improves on sound/music.

But if you played the last version of Karma, I am not sure if it’s worth it.
If you never played it. That is the best version, without doubt.

Thanks for the info. No, I have not tried Karma at all yet. I just played your Terror Christmas Special for the first time and then went looking to see what other games you made, and found this one. I will say that I really liked your renders in the Terror game so I am hoping this one is just as good.

Do you have any plans to share the Final version here at some point? I am asking because I am not able to join your Patreon at this time, so I am wondering if I should wait for it or just try the 1.0 version instead.

We almost finished Karma before we did the Terror special. Meaning that the original models, renders, lightning are not on the same level. However we also made some research into post work and animations. There we improved.

The Special was rather mild. As a note, if you do have an issue with ntr, do not lose in Karma.

I won't share that version here. I assume it will leak eventually and if not, all the better for my patrons.

I was wondering, is there a way to edit the 00gallery.rpy to unlock the gallery? I tend to not enjoy replaying games multiple times to unlock the gallery.

So I just finished playing through the whole game and right now I still have some raw feelings. Overall I enjoyed the game. I think the renders were excellent and I found Clara to be very attractive. They story was also enjoyable enough to keep me reading.

I will admit that I am not a fan of NTR, but I went into this game knowing it was there ahead of time and I still played it anyway so I am not complaining about it either. I even played through the game like 6-7 times to get all the endings knowing I might not always like what I was going to see. Believe it or not, I actually enjoyed the scene with Clara and Mark [after he broke the vase] the best. (Luckily Mark's face was not visible in most of it so it was not too hard to pretend it was the MC instead).

The scene that really bothered me was the party scene. I found myself physically yelling at Samantha through the screen as she kept trying to justify her reasons for staying at the party with Mark instead of leaving. I could feel the MC's pain and frustration of trying to do everything he could to get this girl he liked out of a bad situation, but no matter how much he tried to convince her it was like talking to a brick wall. There was nothing else he could do as the person he was trying to save simply refused to be saved. That resulted in the MC feeling Helpless, which in turn resulted in me as the player feeling Really Pissed Off !!

However, the fact that I am still sitting here stewing over a scene with a fictional character in a visual novel means that the game's writer(s) clearly did an Excellent Job. Eliciting real emotion is the ultimate goal for a storyteller as it shows that readers took a genuine interest in the characters they created. So for that I say .... Well Done!

It also helped that future scenes and playthroughs revealed new details about Samantha that made me care about her much less as the game went on.



Also, on a completely separate note, I can not figure out how to unlock "Chapter 4" in the Gallery. As I mentioned I played through the entire game enough times to get all the endings, but Chapter 4 remains Locked. Any idea how to fix that Eon Able ?
