She is a teenager, and they do these things when they are not overly pleased with a parent, like calling them by their first name. I have 4 teens, it's really annoying.

I have called my mother Phil since I was like 15 (Phyllis). She knows it is not disrespect, just how I address her. I asked her a few times if she minded and she said she was okay as my other two siblings address her as mom. My dad addresses her as Phyllis, and her sisters as Dilly. It is all good sometimes.

2 sisters is still incest.
The version I remember playing was a guy who met 2 sisters. The sisters had scenes with each other, which would most definitely be incest.
Are you saying the "family" version changes the older sister to being the mom and the male character to being the brother/son? Cause I think I would rather pretend that doesn't exist, if that's the case, cause once I've already seen the 2 redheads as sisters, changing the story would just lead to confusion and I happen to actually like stories with consistency.

What I am talking about is exactly what I typed. The MC met 2 random redheads. Those redheads were an older sister who is over-protective of her younger sister. Then there was that random THOT dirty brunette who he got a random BJ from for giving her some supplies. Then there was that random disabled Asian girl in a wheelchair.
When I played this game, I only remember there being one version. So, I am guessing the original version was a random guy meeting 2 sisters. Then later on the dev decided to make a different version where it was a mother and her son & daughter. I'm not arguing the fetish...there are definitely enough people who wanna bang their mom and sister lol. But, it just seems to me like if there was gonna be an even more incest version than just having 2 sisters, that they would keep the girls as sisters and make the MC their brother. Just changing the older sister to being their mother is weird...makes no sense.
And personally, the images don't even look like a mother and daughter so changing the story to that makes no logical sense. She looks to be roughly the same age as the MC and the other girl. If she's older, it isn't by enough years for her to be their mother. If she's gonna be known as their mother, at least make her look old enough to fit that part. (in the "family" version, that is. Please don't make her look older in both versions, if there is to be 2 versions lol)
Their ages look like:
MC=21-24, younger redhead=16-18, older redhead=21-24
And maybe you could argue that a girl can get pregnant at 12, and the mother could be 28 with a 16 year old daughter lol, but for the purposes of reasonable/sensible/coherent/consistency, never make the images of a mother look like she is a teen or young adult herself.
Just my 2 cents, I guess lol.

Then I must have downloaded some different version from some other place cause what I have is sisters and an unrelated male MC. Or maybe there were 2 versions when I played it (has been a really long time ago, and I don't remember when it was), and I just downloaded what may have been the 2nd version. Cause I know for a fact the dialogue in the version I have on my computer is 2 sisters and an unrelated male.
It is an incest game. Non-incest version was later made to appease Patreon.
But seriously, this doesn't matter. No kink-shaming and enjoy the non-incest version if that's what you want.

BTW..the "non-incest" version you talk about still has scenes between the 2 sisters. I'm pretty sure that is incest, and I am positive I remember seeing at least 1 or 2 scenes between them. It's been a while, and I could just have a poor memory about it. But, if it was created as a way around Patreon, I can't see that passing for shit in their system, cause sisters touching each other in a sexual way is incest. lol
Regardless, the whole reason for my original comment on this was that it makes no sense to me that the older redhead would be a mom in one and a sister in the other, and in the one where she's a sister, she says she is only a few years older than the male MC, but in the one where she is a mom, she still looks the same age and can't possible be seen as his mom, when she looks around his age. To me, should have made them all brother and sisters, if the older redhead is gonna look that young. Otherwise, make her look old enough to actually be his mom. It's easy to claim she is an older sister even when she looks 15-20 years older than the younger redhead, but it isn't easy to claim she is a mom when she barely looks a couple years older than the other characters. I was simply voicing my opinion on the age, appearance and logic of it all.

Quick one on the 2 sisters thing. I think you might be confusing this with another game (it has been around a while).
The characters, their story and events have never changed. Except for the opening scene, there's been no sexual contact between the main two female characters.
On the visuals, I've covered this in more detail previously, but the short version is software.
When I started this, Honey Select didn't have the ability or content to build reasonable older models (unless you wanted grizzled desiccated ones).
Many more aging and skin mods have appeared since then, but I decided not to retcon the images. I would like to do it, without changing her too much, but nope. Mainly due to the huge amount of work involved.
