Is there any way to change the designated location for the mod folder? As you guys know the default is in your user AppData folder or something like that and that folder for me is located in my miniscule 128gb boot drive

as i know, in unity games you cannot change mostly anything, except a few settings like nickname (and for that you also need take out from game archives somee dll's, if devs don't do that themselfs)

use symlink e.g.

Is there any way to see what mods are needed for a server? I thought I downloaded all of them, but I still can't seem to get in.
WHat.....what is that.......THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING FOR ME. I knew Linux (and probably MacOS) could do that, but I didn't knew Windows could do that too! I really gotta try this

Not afaik unfortunately.
If you really have all mods installed, maybe you have one that is from an incompatible version?
That or they are using a mod that isn't on Steam.
For example, I know there is a mod where you need to ask specifically to be invited to a Dicsord to get a mod for an old version of Koboldkare, but it adds tons of stuff (protogens for example). Never asked for an invite though (seemed like too much of a hassle).
I also just updated the mod overview post, by listing the "Mawful Shark" mod (not sure if you had that one yet). So there should be 32 mods in total now (that are publicly accessible on Steam).
Hmmm... I think I missed one. Went through and re-did the list of mods and re-downloaded everything, and it's working now.

Welp, guess what folks. Nael revealed some screens from the game he's been making that he dropped development of KoboldKare for. "CV city" (CV stands for Cock Vore). Tell you what, it looks good but the fact that it's centered around fucking COCK VORE is insane, could've added a lot more things to do in KK in the half a year that's been spent on making a niche 'Macro Sandy Cheeks cock vacuuming a car' fetish game. I'm getting sick of paying for very promising games only to see the devs abandon them

Niche is underselling it, that stuff is a turbo-niche withen a niche. It is so hard to find good growth games and all the people who make them always move towards weirdo shit like this.
Some people just like bits getting bigger without someone dying to make that happen.
atleast they made kobold kare open source so rn its like early gmod just gotta wait for good mods to be added then we might see a resurgence
