This command dont work anymore. I get I/O Operation failed.

Which command specifically?
Both `login anonymous` as well as `workshop_download_item 1102930 2964696240` (or any other mod's number for that matter) work for me.
Might also be a problem of where you are running steamcmd (maybe it has no permission to read/write in the folder it's being ran as)

For those asking about updates; there's not much difference between the latest known-good build and

. The two major differences between these builds are:
- Genes were fixed to save properly, so that you can save/load with less issues. (This breaks your existing saves, by the way.)
- Networking version bump, so that pirated builds can't join real servers and vice versa.

Build times for the current version are reaching up to 10-20+ hours; the easiest way to obtain a copy of the latest commit is to build the game yourself, using this excellent guide to do so. I'd host a copy of the latest commit but for two problems:
- My machine is a slow builder. Naelstrof still has close to 20 hours build times on his machine, and my machine is struggling with shader variants in, I'm guessing, the same way they are.
- I have a 2mb upload speed; uploading a copy of the build could take multiple days, and I don't think even Google lets me upload a zip file that big, at that speed.
- The mods for the game are a gigabyte or so bigger than the game itself, so I can't upload the modset either.

imo it's faster to buy the game on steam upload it share it refund it (if u need money back on steam lolol) than going on parsec and consuming mi friend's newly built pc to build the game and put someone to post it here but atm it's not worth the fuss in that case

Welp, guess what folks. Nael revealed some screens from the game he's been making that he dropped development of KoboldKare for. "CV city" (CV stands for Cock Vore). Tell you what, it looks good but the fact that it's centered around fucking COCK VORE is insane, could've added a lot more things to do in KK in the half a year that's been spent on making a niche 'Macro Sandy Cheeks cock vacuuming a car' fetish game. I'm getting sick of paying for very promising games only to see the devs abandon them

Interesting game, the mechanics for sex are phenomenal, basically giving you free rain to do how you please. Either via animations or hands on via posing your own scenes and using the built in hip movement mechanic. I'd say it is the most impressive game I've played for this sort of stuff. Need more devs to invest in mechanics like this in games makes it so much more immersive.

The way you can transform characters modifying their body shape over generations is also pretty in-depth and doesn't really have limits which is nice for you to be able to pick and choose how far you want to go. Though I do also wish this wasn't generational, makes it too grindy.

But now for the major issues...

1. No easy way to transport goods from point a to point b, honestly half the slog is getting the items to your ranch
2. Recipes are just awkward to make and honestly just too much effort to keep track of the various buckets of stuff you have, would be a lot better being a craft inventory. Everything has to be made in buckets... I officially hate buckets now.
3. There's a point where you get too many eggs popping out of your Kobolds that your farm just sorta becomes a massive mess and without an actual inventory system there is no way to clean it up

Think it's worth a play and honestly, probably worth the $15 on steam, but it seems the dev is onto other stuff now, so unlikely to be getting any new updates any time soon.

If you eat fish juice (which costs mutator bar, expandable via yogurt) then your regular grab upgrades to a multi-grab. More fish juice means more stuff you can simple-grab and carry at the same time.

reinstall game, start it without mods, and, if it not help, delete Player.log from \AppData\LocalLow\Naelstrof\KoboldKare dir.

I can't speak to the specifics of this game but Completed tag on F95 doesn't mean there isn't any more development. Like many games that exit EA on steam that continue to get significant updates for months to years after.
