You're welcome. The folder that is created when you unpack the mod should have folders inside that match folders already in the game. You put those and the scripts folder where you find the matching game folder, which should be in the same place as the exe.

you could make a screen how to do it, I wouldn't want to go wrong where it puts the risk of fucking the game.

then the first one is the lost one, if I don't have the party "it doesn't work"
the last one works the normal one or does it also take the party version?

A few new people have asked about party and to reiterate once more: Party is the English version released on Steam.
Party is basically 'just' the studio/character creator because Steam was against selling outright porn for a while and even though that has lifted some, Koikatsu is still in a spot where the characters are too young (or at least look too young) to sell the full game.
This means that Koikatu, by itself, has more content than K-Party: because K-Party is a cut down form that was set up to sell here in the states on a general game platform and not a porn game platform. Even if you do have Party, if you go to the developer site linked in Steam they'll have a patch to get you back to the "full game", which is not the Party version.
I feel like at some point the OP should just say "The Party version is the family friendly version, like you would show at a party, and not the degenerate porn part of the game"

lol yes the K-Party should come with a (PG) warning and the JP release version should be ( Adults Only ) due to the differences in content.
From his last message, it sounds like it still needs work before he can say it's finished, but yes, it is a good addition to the mod.
Bug in some animation.... the next build should be contain the fix.

So I'm not sure why any characters are showing up. I go to UserData>Chara then female/male depending on well... you know.
So I made folders to put the images in to keep things more organized and when I load the game the folder is there but it acts like nothing is in the folder. What am I doing wrong?
Edit: So my best guess is that I'm doing "Save Picture As" and not "Save Image As" (?Same thing?) since after looking at a video the file name should look like a big mess and not default as "untitled".

The game itself can only detect characters in the default folders, however, there is a mod in place already, if you are using the repack, that can search folders inside the default ones. There should be a black see through window with white text off to the side when you are setting up your class for the first time or in Free H. This is mainly so you can use community created characters since those are separated into folders with the creator's name, but it should work for any folder you create as well. In class creation, there might be two windows like this, so it would be the one on the lower right just to make things clear.

You need to "save the image as", in the end, the card is saved with any name, but the format must be ".png"
This is enough for the card to appear in the game. But only on condition that the card is made for Koikatu. If you downloaded a card created for another Illusion game, it will not be displayed in the game menu. Also, if the card is made long ago, it can be used with great restrictions until it is adapted.
Online download of cards does not work for everyone, so manual saving method is the most effective...
Hi, I'm trying to run the game and it just says the target executable was not found (In japanese as the initsetting is all in japanese which I'm not sure whether it's supposed to be either). Can anyone help me with this as I am so lost with this.

* remove white spaces and non-latin compatible unicode characters like japanese kana from the parent directory names.
* if you still cant run it, check the package for a .reg file and read its content by pulling it into a notepad window. edit the filepath according to your folder structure and execute it. this adds the data to registry for the program to find. illusion games usualy need to be installed which does this automated.

You might want to look through Illusion software release history but Illusion are not known for Mac release software. -
