these are ofc. builded with ingame base meshes ( like cubes, spheres, ringhts etc. )

Here is Scene for Legs/Handcuffs:

1) Open Your chara studio
2) System -> Load
3) Select Scene with handcuffs
4) IMPORT - Not load !... Import ! - Loading will remove ur current scene
after importing u will have 2 Objects ( Folders of objects )
u can use whole folder or if u want u can open it and edit

It should make body more wet just like You have in Honey Select 2

for ppl who don't know in HS2 You have Slider for Wetness
You can move this slider up and body / face / hair and everything looks like wet

KK Didnt had it... but maybe will have... idk current look is 2/10 but at least body is more glossy xD

So finally got around to playing this and downloaded some cards. Some (not all) have issues like this when trying to do any H-animation. I know the screenshot is from Sunshine but it does the same thing in the base game as well.

Yeah, the only mods needed are the ones with character cards.

...Aside form the mods that are included with the downloads but still need to be dragged and dropped into the BepInEx folder in order to actually activate them, such as Game Dialog Helper.

Many of those folders are empty or with a txt file.

I'm not going to go through all 62 folders in the "[OPTIONAL] Mods" folder just to prove a point. But with the 20 that I just went though, I'm seeing more than just the "Copy to the install dir to add" text file.

So, unless the RX13 release that I'm still using is radically different than the current release (RX15), some mods, like Game Dialog Helper (which is really useful for those who don't want to remember a bunch of character's likes and dislikes), still need a manual instillation.

Furthermore, I see people mentioning steam, do I need to own the game on steam to play?

Download all the 9 parts, is like a complete version. I read pages ago that Steam version is censored or incomplete, not worth it.
