Also, does this game have the same framerate issue as AA2? What I mean by that is, if I have low FR in-game, can I fix it with the same fix as AA2?

That I don't know. However yes, upon loading the game when you're in class (or at school in general) the frame rate "dance" just a little - something like 10 probably. But after a couple of second everything get back to normal, at least for people who have a decent pc of course.

The frames will tank any time you open an area for the first time, but won't lag after that unless you have a garbage tier PC.

Does anyone know about this ?
My game won't even open. I ran the registry fix and then launched Koikatu.exe. It won't even appear in my task manager and wont give me an error. I can launch IniSettingEN.exe but even launching from there the same thing happens.

hmm im confused as well i finally got rid of a dll error now but is still just black screen when i try either init en or the ex :/

Use the launcher to start the game "InitSettingEN.exe". Worked fine for me even without the registry fix.
NVM, saw that you both tried the launcher :-/ maybe you just don't meet the minimum requirements? I think it's pretty resource intensive especially during loading and such...

ehm i dont have any game my pc cant handle just saying XD can do stuff like witcher 3 far cry 5 fallout 4 and so on on max

Not gonna lie, completely forgot about Custom maid, it is in fact a quality game but I do enjoy the moral ambiguity of honeyselect and just preferred the game as a whole (though I despise playhome with a passion). In terms of 2D I haven't played Koikatsu yet but I'll agree that KISS is way more consistent in that regard, I think both companies are great and cater to different audiences!
I keep getting stuck on a black screen right after I enter the teachers lounge at the beginning of the game :/

If your error is dll, try remove winhttp.dll from the game directory, this file is for 32-bit x86 systems, after removing winhttp.dll start with app locale the game. This is what worked for me.
