Is it just an optical illusion by not having a border, or are the sprites smaller in mod vs official?

I played last on official 37 version and it seems the models were bigger? They are really off to the side for me and kinda small. Almost hitting the right border.

Putting shader and the_animation.shader on different lines(idk renpy just thought i'd give it a try) makes it go away, but the same error pops up for line 4.

What is the version of Lab Rats 2 you are playing, and what is the version the mod supports?

2. I downloaded via mega-link in the "Full Game Downloads" which implies there is Full game and Both Mod and Fixes onboard. Nothing else.
3. As I said - I didn't tweak anything (And I REALLY don't want to).

Comparing save files I can assume: v0.41.2.1 Game+Mod+BF Assembly you have here on Mega is broken and eventually corrupts save-files, removing/damaging any mod-related info in them which turns them unrecognizable for the Modded Game and I'm not sure even the Vanilla game would be able to load them properly.

The game doesn't check if the data looks modded or not, it literally just checks to see if the game version has been saved as a variable, which happens when you start a new modded game. Somehow you have managed to skip this and variable hasn't been set. I've no idea how you've managed this.

you can brute force the load by opening \lab_rats_2\game\mods\core\compatibility_fix.rpy and changing line 279 onwards from

but you will most likely have other errors. I can't say anything for the full modded version download, I don't use it. Mod is piss easy to install manually, I don't get why people can't manage to do it themselves.

Also was wondering, is there any outcome other than 'scram kid' to be had from talking to Mom's boss? All I could is have the conversation where he laughs me out of the room, then I meet his daughter. I hired her and have 100 sluttiness but no extra option appears.

Also, I see the sluttiness meter now can have three hearts with 100 in them, are there any actual differences between 100 and 300 sluttiness?

Having peeked at the mom role file, yea.. beyond him telling you to GTFO, you meet the daughter, and thats it.
Theres commented notes about possible ideas for meeting the wife and messing with her and the daughter to get to him.
But it ends there currently.

I doubt Vren will be fixing or editing renders. It would take a bit of work for modders to fix it themselves instead of the easier fix from Vren.

Since we're getting a breast expansion focused interaction with Lily, might I suggest a special event where the first growth serum you give her has a dedicated scene where she visibly grows and reacts? Maybe even having alterations depending on how many turns the serum would have lasted, resulting in larger changes for stronger version.

BE is technically in the game and there's a few allusions to breast size in existing dialogue but nothing really chewy for expansion lovers.

I don't know why I didn't post this here and while I am, can anyone point me to the comments talking about/tell me how to modify a character's opinions file? A lot of randomized opinions don't make sense as writ.

Console commands

• the_person.opinions["working"] = [-2, True]
• the_person.sexy_opinions["anal sex"] = [-2, False]
• the_person.opinions = { "Mondays": [2, True], "Fridays": [2, True], "the weekend": [2, True] }

the_person is the person you are currently interacting with. The -2 means hate (2, 1, 0, -1, -2 are respectively love, like, neutral, dislike, hate). The True or False means whether or not the opinion is known to you. The first two examples are replacing/updating a single opinion. The last example is replacing all opinions (so all current opinions are removed and then the new opinions added).

Editing game files

1. When a person is created, she is assigned 4 random opinions and 1 random sexy opinon which are all assigned random values from -2 to 2 (if the opinion is 0 then it's neutral and doesn't get added).
2. The person is assigned 3 random opinions and 2 random sexy opinions which are assigned random values (but not 0) which are dependent on their personalities.
3. If the person is a unique character (eg Stephanie) they can further be assigned some specific opinions in random_lists.rpy.
4. The mod updates all characters to make sure they have at least one opinion in certain opinion categories (eg clothing, footwear, foreplay, anal, etc)
5. The mod tries to resolve any opinion clashes (eg loves drinking cum vs hates giving blowjobs)
6. The mod updates unique characters with some specific opinions

Opinions assigned in earlier steps are overwritten by opinions in later steps. The first two steps are found in major_game_classes/character_related/Person.rpy around line 60. Also for step 2, check the personality files in the personality_types folder. The last three steps are found in Mods/Core/Mechanics/Personality_Extensions/generic_personality_hook.rpy.

Why hasn't this patch been updated yet?

It has been updated in the beta release yesterday, 19th for both the mod and the bug fixes.

If you are talking about the full game being updated that will take a while more because there is still some bugs that need to be worked out.

Remember this is for the beta under the spoiler.
Still finding bugs and as they get fixed and updated new downloads will be able to download.

Full game will get an update with both mod and bug fixes once all bugs are fixed and is stable for normal game play.
