Have you tried unplugging the mouse when pointer drifts? What happens then?

The problem clears. Only on Ren'Py games. Weird.

Suddenly, this game is developing bugs. The mouse pointer moves all by itself all around the game. Just games DL from here. HTML games work fine. So do my Steam and GoG games. I have done a restore, updated all drivers, cleaned up corrupted files, and switched to 4 different mice, including a hardwired one. I'm flummoxed. Any thoughts on what I can check?

Don't know if it is same problem, but when I had similar happen before it was because I had joystick plugged in. Quit the game, unplug the joystick, restart the game.

Short answer: It's a matter of preference. The mod is bigger, yes. That's not always better

Long answer: I can't speak for everyone, but as for me, I don't like the tone and mechanics changes, scope overreach, new characters, and other changes the mod introduces with its too many cooks. And the bugs in this version have been identified and fixed long ago while new bugs are introduced in the mod practically hourly, making this the more stable version
