The problem clears. Only on Ren'Py games. Weird.Have you tried unplugging the mouse when pointer drifts? What happens then?

Don't know if it is same problem, but when I had similar happen before it was because I had joystick plugged in. Quit the game, unplug the joystick, restart the game.Suddenly, this game is developing bugs. The mouse pointer moves all by itself all around the game. Just games DL from here. HTML games work fine. So do my Steam and GoG games. I have done a restore, updated all drivers, cleaned up corrupted files, and switched to 4 different mice, including a hardwired one. I'm flummoxed. Any thoughts on what I can check?
Short answer: It's a matter of preference. The mod is bigger, yes. That's not always betterSo why play this version when you could play https://f95zone.to/threads/lab-rats-2-reformulate-v2025-04.32881/ which continues the game and even fix some of the bugs.
I'll be damned. That was it. A driver conflict. Thanks SO much! This was driving me crazy!Don't know if it is same problem, but when I had similar happen before it was because I had joystick plugged in. Quit the game, unplug the joystick, restart the game.
Vern is gone and we have not heard from the dev in over 3 years.Vren do you know why the sequel failed? because 1 the first one had good amount of gooning and 2 it had 4 mechanic. The sequel has the entire dna helix of mechanics ....
But more mechanics = better game. /s (FYI: pretty sure the modded version provides a lot of QoL improvements. But can't say for sure as I've got this on the "won't bother with till it's finished" list of abandoned games. Or what a1fox3 said. I should probably remove this one from my watchlist since I also have the other on there)Vren do you know why the sequel failed? because 1 the first one had good amount of gooning and 2 it had 4 mechanic. You do realise that Vren hasn't update his patreon for 3 years, nevermind here, right?Vren do you know why the sequel failed? because 1 the first one had good amount of gooning and 2 it had 4 mechanic. The sequel has the entire dna helix of mechanics ....
Not to mention that the dev is Ukrainian and quite possibly deceased.> Give criticism to a dev
> Be reminded that said has been MIA for years
> Pretend not to care the dev will never acknowledge said criticism and the whole endeavour is fundamentally a waste of time

Fairly certain Vren said he is neither Russian nor Ukrainian but I have no confirmation. Not to mention that the dev is Ukrainian and quite possibly deceased.
Patreon doesn't care. They get their % cut either way. "Fools and their money..." and all that.what surprises me more: there are still 80 people still paying monthly for this game
In the new one, there's an included mod that uses local Stable Diffusion to create the images on the fly. It's amazing. Worth replaying just for images that are awesomeTBH, the mechanics never bother me. It's not that hard to get a stable income in the base game (though the modded version makes things a little more complicated with diminishing returns)
What bothered me is that it's all still images and the character models look like shit. I wish there were more actual lines for the character to use. Most characters are basically identical in terms of what they say under similar circumstances.
I didn't know that, thanks for mentioning it. I'll have a look at the new one.In the new one, there's an included mod that uses local Stable Diffusion to create the images on the fly. It's amazing. Worth replaying just for images that are awesome
Is there a guide somewhere that explains how to install the WebUI and Stable for noobs like me?In the new one, there's an included mod that uses local Stable Diffusion to create the images on the fly. It's amazing. Worth replaying just for images that are awesome
