I still think Fiona is putting on a show for the MC the picture of her and the other guy they just don't look close it feels like a set up I think Fiona is doing it to get a reaction from the MC to trick him into coming back some women will go to extreme lengths just to get someone back. But then again if she is cheating hopefully we kick her out on her ass.
I agree with you! I think she's just trying to make MC jealous in order to make him come back to her and try to "take her back" from the clutches of the other guy. Many girls like being fought for; to feel appreciated and meaningful to their lovers. If she was so ready to forfeit their relationship and start a new one with another guy, why would she oppose the idea of him leaving so much? If she was so adamant in him staying with her, she must still have had strong feelings for him and she must have thought he loved her the same way too and that this way she would make him come back to her.

She was too egotistical and confident, though, and this plan will most likely backfire; depending on our actions in the game, I suppose. I, at least, am much more inclined in starting a new relationship with one of the new girls, who seem to value what we're doing to our uncle and are actually understanding and supportive of the idea. The question is who am I going to choose! Morgan or Annie?
LC - Morgan (1).jpg 725538_1593486842449 (1).jpg

They are both adorable and very distinct at the same time. I don't want any of them to feel sad for having to choose one over the other, especially now that they also started being friends with one another. I feel like next update will help us better decide who to pursue. I wonder if we can already fuck up the potential relation with Annie if we go to the date with Morgan.

I don't see how that makes sense... She didn't want him to leave in the beginning, but a lot of her argument was school related. How the MC was leaving in the middle of the semester/classes, that Max's friends should have helped out, that the MC and her have their own lives, how she has an internship for the Summer already set up, and then they were going to take a trip after graduating. At no point in their conversation did Fiona say she loved the MC, the closest she got was saying she needs him.

And in the photo she's facing the camera and smiling really big while the guy is kissing her hair. How can we know how "into her" he is from that shot?

I'm more a fan of Morgan, Annie has too much of a love of older men. I expect that she and Bud are going to have some fun in the kitchen one night (if it hasn't happened already). LOL

Okay, why does Ellie have to be so hot? And was Bobby a man or a woman? (Joe's kid?)

I hope the next update moves forward the breakup with Fiona, I am not going to cheat on her just because she cheated on the MC.

Again I think that photo is staged and it was merely taken just to get a reaction out of the MC she's become desperate to get him back a little too desperate if you ask me. Some women can become very bitter if you don't do as they say the MC leaving going against her wishes has probably given her some ideas on how to get him back and this perhaps is one of those ideas.

I can see your point, but some people are too proud or fearful of saying "I love you" to someone, but they may still feel love towards them and you can still see that through their actions.

In this case, we don't actually see how their relationship was before the game started. She could have been too attached to MC without feeling real love for him and may have regarded him more as a trophy than a lover, or she could just have been using him as an emotional or economic support. But he must have been very meaningful to her is some way, even if it wasn't a case of "real love". If she wouldn't care for him in any way, why would she be adamant in him staying just because he'd leave in the middle of the semester?

In my humble opinion, she was just being egotistical and did this (ghosting him and posing in social media being perceived as intimate with another guy) in order to "blackmail" him into returning. She feels she is more important to MC than his uncle is, and feels entitled in deciding what he should do with his life. One could argue that this is not true love, and I'd agree, but I don't think she doesn't want him to leave just because they're in the middle of the semester.

Annie may be a genuinely caring person for the ones she interacts with, especially if they have shown kindness to her too. Or she could be "acting", trying to be perceived as interested in her boss, colleagues/clients in order to get better tips, which certainly could make a difference in that line of work.

And, imho, if Annie were to engage in sexual acts with other characters appearing in the game, and she being a LI, that would be considered NTR and I don't think this game will have that type of content, as far as I know.

This is all your theory though, you have nothing to base it on in the game. And it makes her sound like a scheming, manipulative bitch. If she wanted him back all she'd have to do is answer him. He had no intention of cheating on her or moving on until she ghosted him and he saw the photo. If she'd been communicating the entire time this situation wouldn't be what it is.

They were together for years, they lived together... She didn't want him to leave during the semester because it not only ruined his plans but hers as well. They were going to take a trip together after graduating but that can't happen. She had everything planned out. The MC threw a wrench into her plan.

If you genuinely care for someone you don't ghost them for 2 weeks and then pose for a photo that you hope will be shared with the MC by a friend. She could have had the MC back if she'd just been supportive and communicative. The MC had no desire to "relax" or get laid until he saw that photo. She may feel that she is more important, she may not understand why the MC went and took care of Max but severing all communication isn't the way to get him to come back.

Annie may be a genuinely caring person for the ones she interacts with, especially if they have shown kindness to her too. Yeah, I meant that as more of a joke. Though it would be nice if the MC in a game decides not to pursue a potential LI to see the LI still end up being happy. We don't need to see them having sex but what is so wrong about a person dating?

That was the photo we saw. Apparently that dude was in a ton of her photos. If she staged her whole social life just to make someone she's already dating jealous, she has deeper issues than I thought and the reason she ghosted the MC might be because her hands are tied. Literally tied. You know, with one of those pretty white jackets with the really long sleeves...

Right? His friend said that the guy was all over her social media accounts. So she did all of that to get the MC to think "oh boy, I made the wrong decision to come help my dying Uncle out instead of staying home with psycho ghost girl".

Just not very likely...

We don't know much about her yet but the posting of this pic was nothing more than to get his attention in her mind she thinks it will make him jealous and run back to her, they've been in a long term relationship you can't just forget that right away and for some, it's more difficult and could go to any lengths to get that relationship back. Situations like these are never simple I think the dev has written it well and a few pictures with a guy doesn't say she is cheating either as they are just pictures and thought for now.

Pictures plural, it wasn't just one. And we have no idea what she was thinking when she posted them on social media. You can say "the posting of this pic was nothing more than to get his attention in her mind she thinks it will make him jealous and run back to her..." but we don't have ANY evidence that is true. We don't know what she is thinking at all. She could be wanting to make him jealous, she could have decided to move on, she could have decided that the MC is most likely cheating on her so she might as well too. We don't know yet what her reasoning or motivation for ghosting the MC or posting pictures was and won't until the developer's let us know in future updates. There is no evidence presented within the game to substantiate the idea that she is trying to make the MC jealous by posting pictures of her with another man.

Honestly there's no way Fiona can redeem herself in my eyes. She's either a cheater or a manipulative bitch. I don't see how she can be likeable in the future. Not that I found any of the other women (exept for Morgan) likeable, but that's a different story. What I still find annoying is that we didn't have an option to send her a text, email, carrier pigeon or whatever, to let her know that she can go fuck herself and whoever else she wants. I can't believe that after living together with someone and making plans for the future you wouldn't try to get some kind of closure, even if we're just talking about a simple text. Again, it doesn't have to be something agressive like what I said, but something in the lines of "It seems that you've moved on, I'll send someone for my stuff, have a good life" would have made sense.

Yeah, I'm right there with you. I want to be able to send her a message and say, "looks like you couldn't wait to replace me but didn't have the guts to tell me. I'm sorry you didn't understand how important my family is to me, maybe I didn't explain it well enough. But this isn't on me, you could have talked to me, you could have come down one weekend and visited me. Instead I learn that there is someone new because of your social media accounts. I don't want there to be any miscommunication or chance that you don't understand me, let me be clear, we are through. Have a good life."

Or you know the classic "fuck you bitch" could work too.

I don't like the fact that Fiona is even a theoretical LI. I don't believe that there is anyway to misunderstand her actions. I just hope that Thunderline gives the MC some closure really fucking soon because this dangling on a hook/maybe/if type of situation is giving my MC blue balls.

One flaw in all this we don't know anything about the guy for all we know he could be a family member or a friend of hers but taking a few pictures with someone doesn't exactly mean that she is cheating it was the MC friend that put the idea of her cheating on him and that's how he is now going to interpret that. You guys have already said it about being able to ditch her we can't end it right there and then for a reason and I think there is more going on there than meets the eye.

Sometimes the easiest answer, though simple, is the right answer. SO she ghosts the MC, suddenly starts posting pictures of herself with another guy, one that the MC doesn't recognize, on her social media and he's not going to think she's cheating on him? She lost the MC's trust by refusing to communicate with him. The MC is taking care of the last member of his family on his dad's side, a guy he didn't know well but who needed his help, and she doesn't support him at all. She stops all communication after the 2 week deadline that he originally gave and the MC isn't supposed to think its over when she is posting pictures of her with another person?

I don't think there is anything more.. I don't think there is a twist. I think Fiona is cheating and will show up after the MC breaks up with her because she will suddenly realize she screwed up.

The Occam's razor, yes; I believe most of us are familiar with the concept. The thing is: if she is being portrayed as an evil bitch, which seems something we all agree with (I already said I have no interest in her and I'm just undecided if I'll pursue Morgan or Annie), why will she become a LI eventually? Will she just come with a lame-ass excuse and the players are supposed to forgive her and pursue her? It doesn't make much sense! I think the devs will come up with something that will, at least, seem like a reasonable excuse for her actions, and, especially, try to write some kind of redemption arc for her. Alas, I'm still not interested in her because of all that's been said, whether she has feelings for MC or not, but it could still be interesting to see.

Well, first off did they say she would be an ongoing LI? Being on the banner doesn't mean she will be, she was his LI in the past. I may have missed the devs saying that yes, she definitely is a future love interest.

And secondly it may well be that she dated someone else but never went past that. If nothing sexual happens is that still NTR? Most people only have lame-ass excuses for their behavior, it's not like we all have good excuses for what we do. Perhaps she will just call up and apologize. For all we know the MC will go out with McShorty and not hear his phone ring, then when he gets home Fiona will be there waiting for him. But we don't know and won't know until they finally finish the darn update! Feels so long! LOL

was too busy playing the game to give my opinion, but all I have to say is wooooooow!!!!!! Love the game, definitely one of my favorites.. would love to have more interactions with Annie, it feels like the dev is pushing us toward Morgan a little bit though. There's just something about her, she's the Last Call sweetheart, she's cute and she knows it, but she's not slutty, and she's always friendly and helpful, and everyone loves her, that was definitely the direction I was leaning, so we will see what happens in future updates

I think I've posted before in this thread, but I've just read the latest postings about the long-term GF's motives and it looks to me like anyone defending her or trying to come up with a way out are missing something pretty important.

She is ghosting the MC while posting on social media pics of herself with another guy.

There aren't any reasonable excuses.

1. she is cheating.
2. she has ended the relationship on her side but not told her now ex.
3. she is a manipulative bitch.

those are the only possibilities and any of the 3 are inexcusable.

I have a story from years ago that is actually very similar, except in that case the girl I'd been with for 2.5 years was the one that went away for 2 weeks and only ghosted me for about 5 days, while also cheating AND thinking I'd be 'jealous' enough to beg her to come back when I found out.
Imagine her surprise when instead I told her to fuck off and don't come back and after asking if I'd send her her 'stuff' I just sent a pic of most of it [that wasn't worth selling or pawning] on fire.

She hit the trifecta, cheating, ghosting and trying to manipulate, but any one of those 3 is a deal breaker IMO.

These kind of girls who play emotional games, cause drama, .etc just aren't worth your time an effort. Its just unfortunate that sometimes it can take a while to see a person's true colours.

Yep, yep!

A good girlfriend/friend/human being will 1) Not cheat 2) communicate the desire for a breakup (communicate with their significant other regularly) 3) not try to manipulate other people to get what they want.

I just wish that the MC/player could message her and say that they are done. This whole being on her hook is so frustrating for me. I know we are only on chapter 2, and 3 is a bit of a ways off, but I don't want any situation where it seems that the MC is "cheating".

Actually, seeing the sigs on your post reminds me that this is a very similar situation to steph in leap of faith, I made very similar arguments there that she has time to drag the MC back to the house she shares with a guy she married while ghosting the MC but apparently doesn't have time to explain anything.
Time to tell that bitch to fuck off as well since any possible good reasons for disappearing for 2 years died the moment she had time to fuck but no time to explain all while apparently having lived within walking distance from the MC.
