I've never seen a business where sitting infront of a PC will make someone so chronically ill that pushing buttons is a struggle.
The amount of hardware they set on fire and data they lose is astonishing. Countless hardrives and graphic cards spontaniously combusting suspiciously close to update times.
Families falling apart because, i'm guessing, being able to make ones own schedule and only work when you see fit whilst being able to take as much free time to yourself would be so mentally demanding.
Pretty sure one dev also had the same aunt die twice.
I know one dev who has multiple games on the go has "killed off" a couple of the devs who's games then went abandoned due to the tragedy of digitally constructed personality dying off. I swear, tears every time, it's like watching Aerith die back in the original FF7 all over again.
Now, joking aside, i've no doubt being a dev is stressful etc, etc but the fact these devs still haven't managed to get their shit together in nearly 2 years is a concerning thought considering they seem to want money for their "time".
It's not like incidents are isolated either. Something going wrong with a dev happens so often and been going on for so long even the meme about it got old.
The worst part is they can never be honest either. I'd at least have a bit of respect for them if they said "sorry, we messed up and haven't got anywhere and we'll put it on hold until it's ready" rather than stringing people along with that faint hope something may come out .... eventually .... when rocking horses start shitting gold bars.
Those moments when what starts as a joke turns to a rant..... apologies.

Unfortunatly that happens so rarely that it still feels like a breeze of fresh air.

It's either been abandoned and the dev is stringing along his patrons, or he's really plugging away a few frames a week and will release a new chapter sometime next year (maybe, that's just a guess, all indications are that he's not announced a date, just keeps saying "I did a little bit this month" when he occasionally updates patron)
