There are still some bugs with freezes, but none of them prevent you from unlocking the scenes. Actually, that's why it's hard to find them - when I manually test the game, I check the availability of scenes and the walkthrough of quests, but sometimes I can't physically check ALL the lines.
We take criticism well, but I also see that some players don't realize that not all scenes should be easy to get. If they don't get a scene on their first or even second try, they start to think it's a bug. To be honest, this makes me very sad.

Sounds like a bug that could have a variety of causes, ranging from a missing sprite file (unlikely if other sprites work) to an error in creating a variable for the sprite shortpath (they are created at the start of a new game and when you first enter the Saloon). Try starting a new game, it might help.
We have plans to add a second playable character, but this is part of our $3000 Patreon goal right now because it will incur a significant increase in production costs. This screen used to have notifications about this, but it is now temporarily removed.

We had this in mind when we started working on the game, but we quickly realized that it would be VERY expensive and difficult. We did a survey among our Patrons and found out that they are also not particularly interested in this kind of content. Therefore, we decided to abandon this idea about playable female character and maybe add it only for one quest sometime in the future.
Fees always drop when new updates don't come out for a long time. Once we can release updates more regularly (ideally monthly), income will start to rise.
I totally agree its better to focus on game development. As I can see most developments do liek this they make game finish it for one gender and then if theyre is requests they make it for another gender mc. But for developments its much more easy because they already finish game for one mc and programm all game and they can with not so much difficulties create alternative storyline for another gender mc

It's true that support comes and goes, especially if people are impatient and not aware how much work new content demands. Oh well, I hope you can reach that goal. Will the patrons have a choice what to pick later as a second character or is that already decided when the time has come?
