I never thought people would be actually interested in a game that is obviously focused on NTR and not some variant where you take someone else love interest but the strict cuckolding variant. Damn it that's a lot of work I already started the game and I can't back out now, at least tell me we can cuck the king I want his wife.
Anyone knows how exactly the difficulty settings change the game? Is it just stronger enemies or it has more management mechanics? Are there any rewards locked behind the harder difficulties?

Only in his games. When he's no longer the protagonist, no more plot armor then it'd be doable. I don't expect someone like him to just take it and cry in a corner like the typical cuck protagonists we usually get but he won't be able to stop it either when the plot armor is transferred to the eyeless protagonist (me) muhahaha.

Interestingly enough all those Orange Piece games you are translating are a good example of being NTR games but without having the despair element as generally they are all more NETORI games since you play as the female most of the time and you never to my knowledge get to play as the husband who is getting cucked... It is such a strange genre with many nuances which is why many have been petitioning to have some of it's sub genres as tags due to the use of just the NTR tag instantly causing a huge argument. For example many games here at F95 that have you stealing another persons love interest actually fall under the tag NETORI but such games don't add the NTR tag due to peoples reactions.
Anyway I am myself now guilty of talking too much about NTR and what it is and isn't so I will stop and go enjoy this game now since the translation is pretty good and I now know I can have a NTR free experience if I am careful! I admit that while I like some NTR games (like Shadowcore) I would be unable to enjoy this games NTR as the idea of playing a long full out strategy game to benefit some douche King in building his harem out of the girls I am close to annoys me!

Yes but 90% of the porn is NTR so if you avoid it, you're pretty much not playing a porn game. Although this game is good enough without the porn, ESPECIALLY by porn game standards, so you can play for that. Actually, trying to avoid the NTR is a whole gameplay mechanics in of itself.

Once you get over the VN portion at the start, it opens up the campaign map and into a pretty nice little strategy game.

Funny, I remember one of the Rance games had a scenario where if you refuse or fail to help one of the girls, she relunctantly sleep with another guy in order to get his help, and the NTR ragers were absolutely livid over this cuz they saw it as "NTR."
