I think the way things were in the prologue is probably the best of all choices, if Ares had not rebelled and the guy who took the throne for himself had ruled without the holy king seal.
True, though Gustav technically started it all by declaring Ares a traitor by being a paranoid fuck. if he just used his brain a bit he'd know Ares is too loyal for that shit. And there's the whole thing about Gustav abandoning all of his allies such as Tristan being attacked and never recieving his aid. But Ares deciding to let ludwig do his thing on his own and settling down with Seria without going to war might be a better outcome idk.

I think it would have been interesting if this happened and Ares kicked Baroque out, and Baroque went and somehow managed to conquer one of the other kingdoms in the region and started a war against Ares, and Ares had to fight against Hippia and Baroque. Make a choice too, either choose to keep things as normal and the game plays how it does currently, or kick Baroque out and he takes over a country and wars against you.
at least baroque would take like 2 min to deal with with his shitty strategies xD

Can you give a link to this mod please
It actually took an hour to find where this was in the code, but doing it was pretty simple. The issue arose in that it's a variable with 2 names, Affection/Love and love is used so often in the code that even using a search pulled up hundreds of results.
Anyway here you go, affection is always revealed. The original function checked if she is already assigned as a lover and ISN'T dorothy OR you've gone quite far in the relationship. I had no idea what you actually wanted so I just disabled the entire function so the males and even the slimes will show how much they love you.

Edit = Also this will not require a new save.
Here you go

That actually sounds awesome ngl.

I would have liked a choice to have Baroque make the choice to NOT try to kill Ares.
Ares has already proven himself to be an absolute cuck to watch all his girls get banged by Baroque, there was really no need to try to kill him.
Just keep banging and impregnating his girls in front of him for the rest of his days, Baroque basically tamed all the girls with his D already

There is a mod which makes the game immensely harder. Gives the Hippians a much larger army and makes artillery destroy forts. The hard part is even getting the NTR before you get a game over.
hallo Sorry I use a translator
But I really want to know more about this MOD!

Haaaaaah...

I want to like this game, but man, it's making it really hard. The fact that you have to micromanage every single general in the army and can't leave any of them alone for long makes the gameplay loop very tedious, very fast. Once you end up with 20+ commanders, things start getting really annoying in terms of managing loyalty and whatnot. This is further compounded by the fact that leveling is a massive chore because of how the system works. And thus the safest way to level commanders it basically to secure choke points with turrets and let the enemy commit suicide against said choke points over and over again.

The fact that commanders don't get XP from defeats is a... VERY questionable design choice tbh, because it makes being aggressive not particularly efficient unless the game forces you to be through events or some-such.

Then there's the way the H is integrated in the gameplay. From a pure storyline perspective, this is pretty good... however, the issue is that from a gameplay perspective, it makes using the girls more tedious. Needing to play keep-away from the King so you don't lose a potentially key unit becomes annoying pretty quickly... Furthermore, he actively follows the girls, so if you bring them to the front-line, the moron comes right after them and you have to worry about THAT too if you're trying to do anything crazy like spear-heading deep into enemy territory for any reason.

Also, is it me or does it take longer for the enemy to strip a girl than it takes for her to fall to the enemy's dicks?

Anyway, it's been awhile since I've been tempted to just give up on a game completely...

Maybe I'll give the ol' Cheat Enging a spin again and see if I can do anything with it. I'd like to at least see the story to the end, even if it does have... quite a few issues...

There is a reason why I stuff all my extra commanders into the same fort to spam scout for stuff lol. I can give certain commanders I like the stats of a greek demigod.

Hi! So I just finished the prologue and I got to the point where you can freely move on the map. Because the game doesn't explain anything I have a lot of questions and I would appreciate if someone could answer without spoilers about the game. Or link me to a tutorial if such a thing exists.

1) upgrading armies

I tried building the military buildings, I unlocked silver-level troops, but when I try to equip them on characters that currently have bronze troops it doesn't work. Does it require that your characters reach a certain level before you can equip silver troops or how does that work?

2) prisoners

I managed to move prisoners once, I tried again later but the button is grey and doesn't work, what's the requirement to be able to move a prisoner? Or can you only move them once? Also some of them escaped at some point, how do you prevent that, what determines the chance of escape?

3) Scout/spy

What's the point of that? You can already see where the enemy armies are moving on the map

4) Bottom left buttons

658468476987.png

What is this supposed to do? It shows an error message in japanese when I click on it

5) Hiring characters?

No other way except defeating enemy characters and hiring them afterwards, is this correct?

6) numbers in the top

3658496846.png

on the right it's the day and the month I assume, but what's the number on the left?

1 - Various generals have various troops that they can naturally hire. For example, MC can hire knight types and swordsman types, but can't hire pure mage types. So if you upgraded the magic building to get better mages, you won't be able to change MC's troops. It's the same for all commanders. All of them have certain units that they can hire and certain units that they can't. You can override this somewhat with certain items... but that still doesn't give you access to all troops on all commanders.

2 - Moving Prisoners depends on the prison level in the down that the prisoner it's in. So if you want to move the prisoner, you need to upgrade the prison. I don't remember to which level. But it was likely written somewhere in the in-game manual.

3 - Scouting sends the commander out for 30 days. During this time, they may find items or money. What they find depends on the location they're in. Additionally, they can increase/maintain morale via this action.

Spying on the other hand allows you to send a commander to an enemy location without directly attacking. Instead, you can attempt to steal money from the enemy, or sabotage the walls and facilities at the target location. You can also try to rescue prisoners if the enemy captured any of yours. Lastly, if the commander has the right skills, like Ignite or Bomb, they can do damage to the facilities AND any troops stationed there.

However, spying comes with a chance of the commander in question being captured. So be careful about that if you use anyone except a certain blue haired totally not thief. She can escape from prisons up to level 5 on her own if captured, after some time passes, but only if you don't pursue her affection events.

4 - Those buttons don't do anything until you reach a later chapter. When you do, they allow you to track the status of any female commanders that were captured by specific enemies.

5 - No, there's no proper way to obtain other commanders except for captures, story events and in some rare cases, scouting around some cities, though the list for those is pretty short.

6 - The long number is the in-game year.

Btw, the game in the OP does NOT have the latest translation patch. I recommend going to the patch on ulmf and grabbing it from there... but you'll need to make a new save, because the translation doesn't update in existing saves because of how wonky this particular VN engine is...

Thanks!

the patch from here and add it to the game folder right ?

Just start a new game, or do I need to uninstall and reinstall it?

That's the one, yes. Not sure why it's not pinned to the OP...

Also, once the patch is added, you just need to start a new game. No need to reinstall the whole thing or anything.

Is there a Wiki or something for this game? I feel I´m missing something because this game is talked about so much and I am finding it very boring. Is there more game after defeating the Hippians? Do the pirates appear again? Do the different starting route change the plot in a significant way? Thanks in advance
