Yep, it is, and...Near the end (just before : There you are ... son), is that Matt holding Linda's ring
I agree with you on that. That really freaked me out when he pointed that gun at her pussy and then I also saw he had his finger on the trigger as well. I couldn't do that to someone I love it is way to traumatizing to me.Steph suffered from how implausible her backstory was, but it managed to recover from that and I was really impressed... until that ridiculous Agent Panda sex scene utterly undercut the mood and left me extremely frustrated. It's fair to say I tend to take things too seriously and I'm just not 'getting' the joke here, but I can't help it; pointing firearms at a lover is apparently a serious turn-off for me. Who knew?
In my case, I only play one ending in most cases, even if the choice is at the end, I only play one. If there is no harem ending, I usually choose the girl I prefer and follow her route and usually ignore the other girls (this means that I avoid all sex scenes, at least the non-mandatory ones, with the girls that I do not choose). If there are more than one or two girls that interest me, I avoid the game. I also usually quit if there are a lot of mandatory sex scenes with girls that I'm not interested in.I can not agree with you. Name me a good harem game where the LI does not become completely mindless at the end.
SL is probably my best example of where I realised that I don't like harem games. All the girls were perfect, I loved them all,but at the end...they all became exactly the same, with a ridiculous wedding at the end. It took any semblance of reality completely out of the game. PL so far is the closest I had to enjoying a harem ending. Not perfect, but at least the girls kinda still remained true to themselves.
I do not mind pursuing multiple LI and this one is frustrating in how completely rigid you need to choose your love, so early in the game, but at the end you need to have at least a plausible ending with one or at the most 2 LIs. Not the most realistic way, but I enjoy games where you can pursue all, but at the end you need to then chose your true love. It means that you do not need to play the game though multiple times.
Leap of Faith is more realistic, but I can see the frustration. Currently I play only for my main LI (Cece) but when the game is done, I will speedrun the others
You can pursue multiple girls until chapter 4, then you really need to decide on one or none at all. There's not really any point for the dev to let a player play 95% of the game and then they decide - you couldn't do that IRL and they are trying to keep the same concept here.I like that there won't be a harem ending here but I'm surprised that we have to pick a girl already, I would have preferred the Being a DIK or where the heart is approach where you can pursue multiple girls (even though at the end we will have to choose).
I don't really like playing the game multiple times just for each girl
I actually like the look of this MC and Chris... To be honest, all the characters in this game is A+.really like this game, but the main character looks really similar to that youtuber from awhile ago RayWilliamJohnson, so i cant help but laugh every time i see him. I dont mean this is any negative way either
Yeah but the chapters are pretty short so it doesn't feel like there is enough content with each girl. I only care for Cece and Lexi enough to see their routes, the rest would have been fine as side girls but that's itYou can pursue multiple girls until chapter 4, then you really need to decide on one or none at all. I think it works pretty well. This is not a harem game so play through the early chapters, then decide!
Let's see what chapters 5 - 8 bring. This is the downside of playing a VN before it's finished! In the meantime, there's plenty of single/limited choice games out thereYeah but the chapters are pretty short so it doesn't feel like there is enough content with each girl. for sure! i like how all the characters look too, i just cannot help myself but see ray william johnson, and imagine him as the mc. which may be funnier to me than it should be lolI actually like the look of this MC and Chris... To be honest, all the characters in this game is A+.
But back to the MC. I like his look, handsome, rugged and goofy. Not some loser peeper and also not some rediculous unrealistic alpha where all the girls just slave for his cock.
He is perfect for the role he performs. It help that his got some exotic ethinicity in the mix as well.
The MC of BID also is pretty good. (I did not like the MC in AL to be honest)
There are plenty of good games on here with terrible MCs. Real creepers that peeps on everything that moves! I still love those games, but the MC's...Yikes!
This is the best post I've ever read on this forum. My own bias against a Harem in the case of this game centers on how these fetishes often devolve over time:
1. Punters demand a Harem route.
2. Portion of those punters want to have their cake and eat it too. They expect to f**k everything in sight while hypocritically demanding absolute fidelity from the women in their Harem (from what I've seen, certain three-letter abbreviations starting with 'N' produce more uproar on this forum than anything else).
3. Not satisfied with their Harem, some punters then want threesomes, then foursomes, fivesomes etc etc involving all the women in their Harem.
From what I see, this game doesn't suit 1. in full. The story so far could support the MC and Robin/Kira and perhaps MC/Linda/Cece (provided the latter doesn't include bi/lesbian elements).
This game and 2. and 3. Hell no!
In the Context of the story so far:
Cece is perhaps the most problematic female character because of her mental health. If the MC chooses a loving relationship with her, all good and fine. However, if she has feelings for the MC, then it remains to be seen how she'll react to the MC entering a relationship with someone else. Hopefully, this is where the love and support of the entire group comes in.
Anyone who has played the Lexi only route knows she is looking for real love after an obvious string of relationships where her boyfriends treated her like a piece of meat, an object. So far the MC is showing her that's not normal behavior in a truly loving relationship.
In a nutshell, the MC's character doesn't support full Harem, IMHO. He respects and cares for his female friends too much for such selfish tripe.
This MC is as close to ideal as it gets for me. He is dorky, fun, not super pornman, able to laugh at himself, and I have said it a bunch, the bunny slipper shimmy and ending with the flex, towel drop and all that, when combined with the girls bunny slipper montage... just awesome.I actually like the look of this MC and Chris... To be honest, all the characters in this game is A+.
