If i'm on her route I want her to do what she loves which is her career. Being "managed" by some clueless random that knows absolutely nothing while she's taken advantage of and becomes a complete laughing stock isn't what i'd want to do to someone I supposedly love.

You know what I find funny? Trying to apply real world logic to these games. It's going to be however the writer writes it. So many games on here that fail when you try to look at it through the lens of the real world. Not to name names but...a game hinged on that fact that an avalanche happens at a ski resort where the slopes are checked extensively before people are allowed on them every day. A game where it is impossible to drag 2 women out of a fire. A game where cops can only arrest someone for assault if you reported it within seconds of it happening. A game where a stungun will render you unconcious. A game where you can't have a relationship with a woman unless you submit to degrading yourself to someone else who has no control over said woman.

It boils down to something so essential, and so few writers really understand this (on the adult type novels pirated here lol)

The MC must be likable.
Having a great wingman certainly helps, and Chris rates at the top of that heap. Though I hated the story, Liam from Acting Lessons was also great, even as the MC sucked hard. Derrick on BaDIK is probably the main reason I am hanging in there besides Bella. The MC from BaDIK is just not likable.

Probably the least likable MC I have ever encountered is ICSTOR.... er I mean ICSTOR's MCs lol. I think he takes creative license and then projects himself in his games, but damn they are kings of creep no matter which story you pick.

I just looked at the entire conversation with various folks and Avaron1974 regarding the manager for Lexi.
Firstly Assman needs to learn to write in English properly, and insulting people on the board is not a wise thing to do.
Secondly- While I agree that the current manager probably went for all he could, Holly is not as clueless as Lexi would have been and would have influenced Lexi through the years. Lexi could easily fire him, but as Avaron says it will likely cost even with assuming Holly would have helped out through the years.

Coming to that, the MC is not stupid, and could eventually learn the ropes, and is charismatic and could work contacts, but a far better, and ready made solution is Holly.

Take a similar pop star...say Michael Jackson, whose father was the most greedy and controlling sack of shit imaginable. MJ broke free, and completely cut daddy out of the loop. (mommy dearest too) So I think Holly can keep her fortune, get rid of the guy, with some money, and hire Holly!
