If i'm on her route I want her to do what she loves which is her career. Being "managed" by some clueless random that knows absolutely nothing while she's taken advantage of and becomes a complete laughing stock isn't what i'd want to do to someone I supposedly love.
Contrary to the absolute insanity going on in some peoples heads on here, managing a megastar in the midst of their career isn't something just anyone can do.
He doesn't even have the industry know how to manage a new comer.
People that manage those careers have been around the music industry practically their whole lives in some capacity, not just heard a song on a radio.
Not only would people in the industry find that a joke, the media would mock her constantly. Her career would nose dive as soon as people had finished taking advantage.
Eventually it gets to a stage where she can no longer do what she loves to do and it's all because she made the dumb fuck mistake of taking on an absolute clueless as a manager and then she'll start to hate him.
Even in Melody the guy had been in the music industry most of his life and the record label was still wary about working with someone like that. You don't just manage a megastar because you like them, that takes suspension of disbelief to ridiculous levels and even then it still sounds utterly absurd.

You know what I find funny? Trying to apply real world logic to these games. It's going to be however the writer writes it. So many games on here that fail when you try to look at it through the lens of the real world. Not to name names but...a game hinged on that fact that an avalanche happens at a ski resort where the slopes are checked extensively before people are allowed on them every day. A game where it is impossible to drag 2 women out of a fire. A game where cops can only arrest someone for assault if you reported it within seconds of it happening. A game where a stungun will render you unconcious. A game where you can't have a relationship with a woman unless you submit to degrading yourself to someone else who has no control over said woman.

Man, i already saw you in a few threads here and let me tell you something, you are one of the most annoying persons here and your profile photo doesn't help, and now you are trying to analyse some shit that sincerely nobody cares, and in top of that, in a story that the MC randomly meet the most famous pop star in the VN's wolrd, invites him and his friends to her house and after a week or so are telling him that she loves him and all that crap, a VN where the MC catches a person in the air, attempting suicide, and that can see "people past and feelings through the eyes", that his ex girlfriend is a well trained agent that randomly fall in love with a guy that she had to investigate, and out of nowhere has to abandon him whitout telling shit, because she is afraid of what he will say, two girls that are a couple for years and out of nowhere are looking to add a guy to their relationship, and after the FIRST date fall in love with him and are considering giving up on everything that they had because of some random guy that happens to be our MC... so you see, this VN doesn't care much to reality, actually there's no erotic VN who cares much to represent reality, because if so they would be boring as hell, so stop annoying everyone here and go fap to a hentai or something. I just looked at the entire conversation with various folks and Avaron1974 regarding the manager for Lexi.
Firstly Assman needs to learn to write in English properly, and insulting people on the board is not a wise thing to do.
Secondly- While I agree that the current manager probably went for all he could, Holly is not as clueless as Lexi would have been and would have influenced Lexi through the years. Lexi could easily fire him, but as Avaron says it will likely cost even with assuming Holly would have helped out through the years.
Coming to that, the MC is not stupid, and could eventually learn the ropes, and is charismatic and could work contacts, but a far better, and ready made solution is Holly.
Take a similar pop star...say Michael Jackson, whose father was the most greedy and controlling sack of shit imaginable. MJ broke free, and completely cut daddy out of the loop. (mommy dearest too) So I think Holly can keep her fortune, get rid of the guy, with some money, and hire Holly!

He absolutely could. If she was just starting out him working with Holly would have been my first choice but she's very much established and that isn't a career you can just flop into.
My point in all this, as follows on from ass man, people like Steph doing that job do exist, every day people do meet celebs and fall in love, couples have split up over a third party and in a moment of adrenaline there have been some miraculous saves of people about to commit suicide.
What has never existed is a sewage worker managing a worldwide megastar.
It just stretched my disbelief a but too much.
He could absolutely learn it and I would hope if Holly took over he takes the time to do just that. I'm sure Holly could arrange him to travel with them and show him how things work, bring him along to meetings and let him build up contacts and his knowledge of the industry. Obviously it doesn't need to show all that but that's what i'd assume would happen.
I think Lexi would be far happier having Holly managing her and I think Holly would be happy with something to focus on.
