Got some things to address this week, so let's jump right into it.

Leap of Faith is no longer a public (free) release
After 18 months of being a free release, I had to move the Leap of Faith release behind a paywall. This is a direct result of things outside my control, and it's something I had to do to continue using Patreon as a platform. Because of it, chapter 1-6 is now available for every patreon, starting at $1.

Future releases
Chapter 7 (and most likely the 8th and final one), it will be released for the $10 tier and upwards on release date, with the patch being available for the $5 tier the following week.

Steam release?
Chapter 7 will be available on Steam. I'm hoping it will ready for release date, but if not, at least close to it. It's going to be a tough one, due to all the preparations with testing, remastering some scenes, adding achievements, getting approved and so forth, but hopefully. Chapter 8 will be added to it as an free update when it's ready.

The Cece figurine
The Cece figurine competition will be held on Steam at release day (whether it's on the actual release date or later). More details when we're getting closer to release. For those of you that are new patreons, this is the mentioned figurine.

Guest appearance I'm happy to say there will be another guest appearance from another VN in chapter 7. I've had a nice talk with the developer of that game, where we came up with some great ideas for shenanigans. It's going to be a fun one.

Overall weekly progress This has been one of those weeks where the amount of work done doesn't really transpire into numbers. There aren't a lot of hospital assets for Daz, and also, they don't really work that well together. I had to make my own version of them in order to progress scenes naturally from location to location. In addition to that, the mentioned scene contains 9 different versions, with all the cast of LoF - including the buildup to a new surprise ending. So there was a lot of posing and setup, and less rendering. Thankfully, it's all done now and I can move on to less demanding scenes. Render totals for now are at 187, and animations frames are still at 1,306.

That it for this week. Have a nice weekend, and stay safe out there.

Looks like Drifty completed 81 story renders and 0 frames of animation this week. His overall average is upt to 62 story renders/week and down to 435 frames of animation/week. For the graphically inclined, here are the charts:

The big news is obviously that Drifty's new animation rate means it will take approximately infinity weeks to match Chapter 6's totals. Needless to say, that would be the longest development time of any episode to date. :p Nonetheless, I have high hopes that Drifty will rally and shave that down to a finite development time soon enough! Until then, though, there's not much data to speculate with.

Not really sure what to make of a new cameo; I didn't think the last worked all that well and this seems like a very awkward time for another. Guess we'll see how it goes.

It's a shame the game can no longer be a free release. I try not to reflexively blame Patreon, but this certainly seems like a bad change.

The Steam news is unexpected, at least as far as the timing goes. I'd assumed the game would release on Steam once it was completed. It's probably a good thing for Drifty to get it on the larger platform ASAP, and he's earned the recognition. But if I'm being honest I'd rather not divert his attention right now; the wait for Chapter 7 is going to be a tough one. :(

Downloaded from Nopy link and played through from start to finish, a lot of skipping, but did not encounter any errors. So can only imagine you got a corruption during your download. Not sure what you can do except try one of the other links and re-download.
Sorry I am not more help.
i shoulda took screenshots i already deleted the file i downloaded 5GB 3 times to make sure it wasnt just a fluke all them had errors while extracting

Gotta say I'm loving this game so far overall, I dont know who to choose between Cece and Lexi (and Linda is getting up there too), but i feel Kira and Robin are just kinda there, and Steph, I'm just at the part of her confessing why she disappeared, I'll try and keep a neutral opinion for the future but so far it feels like quite farfetched, the whole situation and makes it really difficult to feel in the mood to try and mend things even in the future in an attempt at unlocking all possible outcomes.

While a great game, I feel this is something that happens a lot of time with games that for the most part seems slice of life and grounded, they, need to introduce an element of farfetched possibilities or straight up sci-fi as if the game needs that kind of dramatic plot-twist or subvert expectations (My New Family and Alexandra are two other games I love I feel suffer from this)

Anyway, besides that nitpick I'm enjoying this game so much so far.

I decided to put myself into Daz Studio using Face Transfer and Morphs, this way I could have a little narative with Cece.

I am not one to really discuss games, but damn... this one is a doozy that just enthralled me more than anything has in a while. I wish there was an easy place to "easily" find well-written games like this without having to wade through so much bad stuff. I don't have a lot of free time and wasting it on a 13-year-olds wet dream and bad English is not how I like to spend it.

Way to go Drifty.

Cece is fabulous, but like most woderful people,
they are not seeing any of the other people,
they tend to be selfish and self absorbed that way.
more about Cece's depression, although she changed her emotion after unsuccessful suicide. So in my opinion, if Cece die, it was their fault.
The tragedy is, whatever anyone might tell her, she just brushes all off,
because the demon inside her is getting ever the louder,
silencing all the moderate and the friendly voices,
keeping only the tragedy of self doubt and self deprecation be heard.

MC and Linda should care more about Cece's depression, although she changed her emotion after unsuccessful suicide. So in my opinion, if Cece die, it was their fault.
That is pretty unfair to MC and Linda. They do not have any knowledge or experience in dealing with depressed people. Also remember how almost everyone comments on how much better Cece is doing right up until she jumped.

My take on Cece is that she do not anyone else to worry about her. She wants to project an image that she is absolutely fine. This can be seen already at the hospital after the first attempt where she won't accept any further professional help. She also suppresses her bad emotions as well as she can in order to fool herself. She thinks that maybe, if she pretends to be happy, she can actually be happy. Then one day she realises that it doesn't work and it is just too much to bear.

I mean, MC and Linda could insist on Cece going to therapy, see doctors etc., but if Cece doesn't want that in the first place it won't help either.

So...you mean, nothing they can't to do to save Cece? There must be a way to solve her depression, right?

There is nothing to solve.
Cece does not consider herself worthy.
She is not looking 4 anyone to validate her.
She is not looking 4 attention.
She does not consider herself worthy.
How do you ”cure” / ”solve” / ”unwind” that?

She could be the most famous, the richest, the most adorned,
it would never stop her from trying to inflict pain on herself.

I was talking about what has transpired so far. Now though, things have changed and I don't think MC will underestimate the severity of the depression anymore. Also, Cece herself may get a different perspective from this experience assuming she survives in a somewhat good shape.

So...end of chapter 6 (and I'm still trying to get over it) raises a lots of questions, beside the obvious one about Cece...even with the subtle hint at the end. But I don't want to know about it FOR THE MOMENT.

Chris and Christine ? Sea ? Well, to be discovered in the next(s) chapter(s) as well.

But what got me most intrigued is about "Linda job" that kept her away for 2 days and 1 night. The scene suggests something "sexy" related but could also be an attempt to mislead us.
Later, we see her talking to Stephanie while looking at a painting...is it a clue ? I just remember that she studied photography but that's all.
Whatever it is or will be, I highly doubt it would/could be linked to escorting or hooking as players will not be happy. Whta's more, it is not style of the dev.
