I just finished my first run of this game; it was intense, definitely not what I expected.
Cece's character was just a punch in the guts. The depiction of the mental issues was so vivid ("It really hurts, but I can't show you where"), so as the daily struggle with her inner demons.
To me it was obvious from the start that, ultimately, she would jump ;
I mean, the mental illness doesn't heal from one day to the other just because you found a new supportive friend, so that was the expected turning of the story. But still, that scene where she falls in the dark, it really broke my heart. I started crying.
But it was a good thing, it's good to have your heart broken every now and then, reminds you to "connect to your feelings", as MC says.
It's funny though that all these emotions just triggered from a "silly porn game".
