Well I did not want to say the same thing cause I have not played the last chapter, but up to version 0.4 I totally agree with you. There was no real underlying plot in Badik. Just living life at university, maybe? I still cannot figure out what is the game about. And so far I do not care much about any of the characters. Here I really want to know what is going to happen.
If anything, Leap of Faith kept giving me Acting Lessons feelings, more than anything else. You know, guy sad after break up, meets new group of girl and start going out of his shell, lot of emotion, amazing best friend, go away with group of friends scenario.
I really liked Acting Lessons, like quite a lot, honestly. Its formula, once you played it is simple, but it worked really well. Totally love Melissa. But I have a lot of higher expectations for Leap of Faith. Which can be potentially counter productive, but that is another discussion.
I could not agree more, but you know about it. I think we had this discussion in several threads multiple times, usually with some other guy asking "dude, where are the sex scenes"
Ohh ok, thank you. I am avoiding City of Broken Dreamers, precisely because I am expecting it to be very good. Thing is, for mystery novels, with a lot of characters and lore, it is very hard for me to follow up if I have to wait to know how it continues. So given that I kind of knew that was what was going to happen, I rather wait till it is complete. It is a different story if I just start playing a game without knowing anything and it becomes a total marvel, like it happened yesterday with Once in a lifetime. If you guys haven't tried, please do. Plot is very good and seriously, I haven't laugh so much in a while.
