I rejected her too. It felt right because screw her! And yes, the game will successfully guilt-trip you later.
And that is just funny right there!
Very good game. I was especially worried about Cece. I stopped communicating with Stephanie... I haven't forgiven her... Probably in vain. I even regretted it... I liked the plot. The animation is very good. Thanks to the authors for the game.
How should I play this game ?

I for myself play every game without mods, walkthroughs or something like that in the first run. I can recommend that for this game. Mods and walkthroughs spoil to much, but I use them later too, after I played it once or more and want to see what I've could missed.
At one point you just can't go after any girl. You've to decide. The game's obvious about it and tells you.
Well, just try it. It's a game after all. Just do all the things you want. Play it one time this way and another time completely different. This game is one of the few AVN which has a good long time motivation. I for myself have played it about 20 times and that's not much according to other players. It's never gets boring. Sure, I don't play it every day. But once in a month definitely.

First off, you've gotten some great answers to this post already, and there's nothing that either Elhemeer or Tremonia said that I really disagree with.
Actually just posting to suport what they both said and strongly encourage you to do multiple playthroughs of the game. This is one where the more you play the different paths the more you understand the story. If you only play one route and then afterward decide that you don't need to play another because "that's your favorite girl" then your just doing yourself a disservice and lieing to yourself because you didn't really let yourself know the other girls. So play all the routes. You just might be suprised.
I've played all the routes and I still come back and play this game again about once a month. It's worth multiple play throughs!

Just a heads up for new playthroughs...my game crashed to main menu in chapter 1 after you jump out of Steph's window.
No errors, just a cut to black and i'm in the menu.
I also didn't get the option to tell her I love her just before the sex scene.
The good news is that after starting another playthrough, everything worked without issues, so no idea what could've caused it.
I use SanchoMod and already finished the game without problems in the past, since then installed no updates or anything, so it was really weird.

It's going down. And it starts.......NOW! (Well, as soon as I finish posting, in any event. )
Might come back to consult some of those route charts, especially if there's a particularly difficult to navigate route (thought I saw something to that effect within the last couple of pages).
As has been my habit when I finally play a completed VN for the first time, you can likely expect some "experience" and "peanut gallery" thoughts along the way.
Until then...
ADDENDUM: Just going in to set up the "Seed" run, names, etc., before having supper, and that opening animation when you log in is both extremely attractive, and gives me a tamer version of "The Big Lebowski" vibes.
Also, "great pins!"

Chapter 1 done and just returned to MC's apartment after retrieving CeCe from the hospital (with your long lost Jr. High GF).
Gotta say, not sure exactly what I was expecting, but I'm enjoying what I'm seeing. I did expect a different personality on CeCe based on what little I've read about her here - I deliberately avoided delving in too much because I didn't want to overly taint my experience ahead of playing. Looking forward to things progressing. Can't remember where the "big split" comes and single paths must be chosen - not looking forward to that based on what I've learned about the LIs to this point, but that's what all those save ports are for.
