One things that doesn't make sense is if you say to Malena that you believe that murderer can't get redemption you fell off her path completely because of single choice but if you try to kill Tanner you are still on her path...
Also if you say you don't like kids you completely lose Emmeline path.
For me at least that doesn't make any sense and should be fixed.

Be glad there are hundreds of games out there that cater for more instant gratification.
I too favour the Jamie path above all others. I ain't pissed that there was no strong romantic progression with Jamie this episode [the usually closeted MC did FINALLY admit to Jamie how he feels about her, so that's progress, I guess], it's more about the shit that just keeps piling up on the MC's plate, which includes Jamie's sudden rejection.
Impious Monk is piling this shit upon the MC so that he reaches absolute rock bottom. That's in line with the overarching story narrative where the player can mold the MC to heal or mold him to withdraw even more within himself. Obviously, if a player is on the Jamie path, there will be a resolution to her romantic life/professional life conflict in favour of the MC. When not on Jamie's path, I expect she'll move away and focus on her career.
We are like halfway through the game. Oh yeah, can't wait for her resolution to be just one sex scene in the whole game, while everyone else will have like 5. My problem isn't happy ending, my problem is she will never get but maybe one lewd scene while all the others will just bang continously. Really riveting and fair. The dev obviously doesn't care about Jamie, is what it feels like.

I think it makes sense, Emmeline's whole thing is wanting a family, her future husband not liking kids is a huge no go in that regard.
If Rockford chooses no redemtion its like he's actively rejecting Malena, i see it as less of her rejecting him over the mindset and more like she thinks shes not "worthy" of him or too damaged. Or considers him as someone blind to the brutality of some lifes.
And at least according to the walkthrough you will lose malena's path if you throat strike tanner which is the only possibility to win (and try to kill him).
To state the bleeding obvious:
1. You have no idea what will or will not happen in the remaining four episodes, let alone understanding the developer's motivations.
2. This AVN isn't made to cater personally for your specific sexual needs.
If LeavingDNA no longer floats your boat, no one is forcing you to play it.

i tried it and i was still on her path maybe because i was using mod idk ,and yeah i get all that but i don't think any girl would just be uninterested in guy like him after single choice they don't like even if is a big thing for them ...
thats just my take tho
