I have to agree. A plot at least somewhat similar to the original LOK, instead of just a quest, sounds like a more interesting idea.

It really never was going to happen. It would have been a ludicrous amount of work, basically remaking the game over again, and more of a 'Yeah we might do this when the game is done'.

It had a start of a plot, However with the fact that it only made it to version 0.4 or something, not much was made aside from the village and springs.

Not sure if it helps, but you can cheat stats at the beginning by talking to the...mirror? that coms thing in Kay's room. Closest I can help with wihtout giving an actual file.

Is bread 2.0 still not bread? The game still has the idioms, heart, spirit, and general vibe of each other. same devs and such, it's just a new version of the same game.

I'm actually more disappointed you broke the 'not exactly' chain.

The difference between those and what the topic is, is the intention. those you shown are intended to be different games.
