It’s important to note, though, that if you are playing this game just for porn that you are going to be disappointed. That is very much not the point of the game and only makes up a small portion of it.
Be fair to yourself, Yeah you've tied the adult content into the plot in a way few other games do, but this game has way more content now than a lot of finished games end up with. It's also pretty good content.

I don't necessarily agree anyone's going to be disappointed unless they're into a girl that hasn't given in to sensei yet.

Dev, plz help this poor person and mail me some meds

ED: Seeing this heart thing pretty much confirms it...It's official...Selebus is guaranteed, ceritfied 100% SADIST...
plz help...
No meds required, just let HOPE-Sama guide you and all will be well. :p

1) Yes but in two different ways. There are repeatable animations that will increase your lust stat with the girls and more story-driven scenes that show up once and can be replayed through a gallery.

2) Most of them have set outfits but the Invite Over animations (Which are unlocked much further into the story) have outfits that can be changed.

3) Extremely mild.

It’s important to note, though, that if you are playing this game just for porn that you are going to be disappointed. That is very much not the point of the game and only makes up a small portion of it.
3) What even warrants the exhibitionism tag?

That's a bit much, don't ya think? It's not that people don't want you to criticize, it's that the criticism is kinda pointless, as Sensei in this current route is a piece of shit.
Exactly, we are playing exactly how he would do things as he is now. There will be more with the other routes coming later and I assume older content will need to be overhauled, by which I really just mean added to, in order to incorporate the new routes.

If that were the case, there wouldn't be a choice to be a good homie or a bad one. The fact that there is a choice means it's valid criticism.

On that note, I give. You haven't changed my mind and I'm not going to change either of yours. So in essence it makes the discussion pointless. So we'll both enjoy the game in our own way and be done with it.
No, choice does not validate criticism. The ability to choose and taking the bad option in that choice, by ignoring the information present that would help us to make the right decision in one way or another, is what makes you, collective you, a bad homie. We chose to go ahead with Chika even though we were told twice not to and that a third party had interest, we made a poor decision, we suffer the consequences of being a bad homie.

The fact that so many people vehemently despise the whole homie thing makes me so much happier about doing it tbh.

Like, having such strong thoughts on the matter and seeing arguments like that is a testament to how many people actually care about the game and that makes me feel very good.
Because you've done great work to get us to that point. Not every game can get people this riled up, especially not people like me.

I wouldn't say I despise it, just not a fan of how you can stumble into it with no warning.

But I do agree that it does show how much people care about the game. I wouldn't be here arguing about it if this wasn't a great game. So in that sense, it's pretty brilliant. :)
You can only stumble into it if you choose not to go into the event with the warning, Cafe Mocha. If you choose this path, you take the consequence, which is being a bad homie. If it was supposed to be an automatic trigger, I could see your point of view, but it is player triggered. Indeed, this game is easily the best on the site, not that there's very much significant competition. There's a few games that can be considered competition, Harem Hotel, but not significantly so. Sorry, Runey, you've been dethroned.

Be fair to yourself, Yeah you've tied the adult content into the plot in a way few other games do, but this game has way more content now than a lot of finished games end up with. It's also pretty good content.

I think he meant the focus not being on the porn as the disappointment since some people on here do put focus on the porn even in games that don't focus on it. That's why you get comments against the no sexual content tag or that bear the misunderstanding of what this forum really is. As for your theory, I think you might be on to something. I'm not sure I would call it an affair, that typically means you already have a wife and are cheating. We don't really have enough information on the other girls before player Sensei takes over to determine if he had a relationship with any off them, but there are signs of a possible relationship with Maya. Player Sensei and old Sensei may be one and the same, you've got a point there. Maybe it is a mental dissociation, maybe a split personality disorder. Maya could be the cause of the resets, but I still have yet to see evidence she is involved beyond being immune to the memory effects. We are starting to see player Sensei become more caring toward the girls, maybe that's part of old Sensei coming out. We also see signs that Maya is staarting to notice these signs and is opening up a bit more emotionally as a result, the second reset is a good example because we do see a rare smile out of her for a moment. She seems to be genuinely happy for the progress he has made.

One other note in regards to whether or not the player should face consequences for something that isn't explicitly indicated will result in consequences.

Exactly, actions have consequences. You betray a person's trust, you lose that trust and may even gain the eternal hate of that person. I'm surprised Rin is as calm as she was, she literally got betrayed by her own confidant on the whole crush thing, though her hidden anger is still a bit obvious.

No, in this game so far, nothing player Sensei has done was unintended. He fully intended to go after Chika on the current route with the triggering of Schadenfreude despite the available warnings not to go there. Player Sensei is a rotten bastard, rotten to the core. He takes no responsibility and does as he pleases without regard for hurting anyone in his way. I agree with your take on the future, I feel much worse is coming if he pulls a bad homie move later down the line. We've seen how unstable some of the girls already are, and I remind everyone that this game contains a very nearly confirmed yandere plus another girl who is extremely close to being one. That alone is a recipe for disaster with player Sensei as the main victim.

You're right, an explicit warning would be counterproductive. Selebus wants us to fail, that's the point in making the game as he is now. We wouldn't even have a chance of failure if we had explicit warning of consequences for each action we take. The game already gives TWO warnings not to take a certain, VERY heavily discussed action. They aren't explicit, they don't happen right at the point of the action they warn against, and the event they are in requires interaction to be triggered, but that is so there is still a chance to fail, so that we may do as we are expected and gather the infformation ourselves without being spoon fed. It is readily avaialble, we just need to act on it. Failure to do so is choosing to welcome failure later.

I am also impressed, his masterful writing is what earned him my support. I don't have a lot to give, so I must be extremely selective, and this game is one of the few to meet or exceed my extreme criteria, exceed in this case. This game has elicited emotion from me despite how I pull a Maya and distance myself emotionally from any game I play so I can form as close to unbiased opinions as possible for a keep or drop decision. I tried with this one, it didn't work. The moments still got to me. I was rewatching the event Delirium yesterday to assist in replying to another user, you can see this exchange over the last few pages, and it still hit just as hard as the first time months ago. I still get that feeling of dread, that feeling of worry as I watch a VERY unresponsive and delirious Rin sit there and talk almost constant nonsense. That girl has me worried sick and she's just a bunch of pixels. I've never felt this way about any other game.

The only medicine needed is HOPE-Sama. :p

Ayane and Kirin both had some public acts on the beach but they weren’t in front of/with anyone other than Sensei.
Ah, right, those would count. For some reason, when I think exhibitionism I think of sexual acts or nudity in blatantly public view like the couple of games that have popped up in the last few months where the entire goal is to walk around naked in public view, and some times masturbate, without getting caught.

This game has one of the best story and characters ever and h-scenes are top notch but it makes me feel like a jerk fucking hell dude... Selebus I know you can't give spoilers but at least can we get an endings for each girls? (prefer happily living after ending). Like I even would willing to romance only a single girl (that even includes Yumi) for the entire game if it leads happy ending for that girl and sensei. For the first time ever I don't like to romance multiple girls in a fucking harem game. Because other than couple of them, I don't think they are fine with Sensei having sex with other girls. It feels terrible to cheat them :(

There will be individual girl routes, called purity routes, but there's no guarentee they'll have happy endings considering the genre of this game. I really hope HOPE they do though.
Lessons in Love will be split into three parts.
LiL Proper (The version we're in now)
Dark Route (The mandatory route after LiL Proper)
Purity Routes (Ending routes for each girl that will include several hours of new content for each one)

A final true ending will be planned as well, but keep in mind that any ending is a looooooooooooooong ways away.

In that respect, I guess it is like real life since we don't know the outcome of our decisions ahead of time but I'm still holding that doesn't count as a betrayal.
Going for Chika first before talking with Rin is indeed not betrayal. Agreeing to give her a chance even though you already took it is, though, and since you need to do that to get to the beach event, by that time Sensei does betray Rin.

As with a few others in this thread, you've missed my point. But I'm done with the topic, so let's move on.

There will be endings for everyone from what has been said before, however, don't expect good things for a while IF they happen. This is shooting for the Denpa genre, which is known for its lack of happiness, either very little or none at all, mostly the latter. This game is meant to make you feel terrible, to make you feel like a jerk.

It is, in fact, a betrayal unless you specifically choose not to hold off on Schadenfreude until after the beach event, regardless of having seen the warnings. You, collective you, had the chance to find the warnings as they are readily available at your request via having sufficient affection with Rin to see the scene Cafe Mocha. Proceeding with Chika without seeing those warnings is a conscious choice and constitutes betrayal because you chose to ignore what even player Sensei, literally the thickest guy in any adult game ever, sometimes aggravatingly so, called a blatantly obvious crush, though not in those exact words. You DO NOT need to have done anything sexual or romantic in nature with Chika before the beach event, only her events prior to Schadenfreude. You don't even need to hold back on grinding her affection, just don't go to the location of the Schadenfreude event, which is the trigger for it. Going to that location means the player, and by extension player Sensei, chose to proceed beyond the promised boundary.

Yes, agreeing to give Rin her shot AFTER you have done things with Chika also constitutes a betrayal, on that all can agree. In fact, some might view that as worse than taking her shot away after promising to leave Chika alone because you are promising something that doesn't even exist anymore. There is no shot to take, just a chance at heartbreak.

Hmm. I'm not yet at the end of current version, and maybe I'm playing it wrong, but aside from those WTF?! scenes (for some reason called "happy"), it's like I died and went to heaven Kumon-mi. :D
You'll get there, if the game hasn't succeeded in its goal yet, it will soon enough.

Turns out teenaged girls aren't entirely rational about what they view as betrayal, who knew?!!
Nope, or about anything else, I've seen it firsthand. Then again, any person would feel betrayed if their blatantly obvious feelings were trampled by one of the top five most trusted people they know despite a warning being given and how obvious their feelings are, obvious enough for player Sensei to be the one to say it out loud first before Rin even has a chance to tell him, thus leading into the two warning lines that she specifically uses to tell player Sensei to back away from the heavily tanned blonde until she gets a chance at her. Even more so if the betrayer steals the opportunity before even promising to give said opportunity.

So, changing a bit the subject, I would like to address something: a hint.
I haven't been active in this thread for a while, but after playing the second reset I found something interesting but I will keep it all in spoiler territory.

Now, after the whole talks about "3 gods Gods" I find this really interesting. It could be nothing, but since this appeared while in the 2nd reset its gotta be important lore wise. ESPECIALLY after that scene with Ami in the same event.

Ok, so, when I got this game I just saw a shitty demo from a community member from a weird place on the internet, and decided to give it a try since the last 4chan game I played was pretty good. But... This game really blew away my expectations (I think I'm using that phrase correctly?). It's good, like really good. I'm not yet done with it, but I'm having a blast.

It's not often I see a piece of work with both soul and meaning, and fun to boot (Another phrase of questionable usage properness). It's been one hell of a long time since a game has had me play it with a hex translator on the side. The characters are great, but special props (I blame bot my usage of unfamiliar terms and this weird typing quirk on slight sleep deprivation) to Maya who, despite me chasing every other girl and supposedly disliking it from the beginning, made me realize a trillion hours into the game how I've looked for her everywhere every time something significant or disturbing happened in the hopes I could discuss it with her, unexpectedly engraving herself into my unconscious as my... something. Solace? Ally? No idea. As someone I wanted to be with.

So yeah, this game speaks to me and I'm enjoying it a lot. I will stick around, please keep up the good work.

No, it's not. Even assuming one understands that Rin is pining for Chika, going for the latter is not the betrayal of the former in itself. As long as you do not promise Rin anything - and you do not until you do her events - you are not breaking anything, since there isn't any promise to break. And since Rin didn't trust you with her feeling in the first place, you can't betray that trust by fingering Chika.

Of course, you do end up betraying that trust later, when you advance the plot and Rin does share her feelings, but before that, even though you/Sensei are already in a relationship with Chika, Rin was not betrayed.

I figure not many have done the nice uncle run yet. I have an up to date save with all the bad-anything (homie, uncle, same-age-friend) decisions made.
Now onto making the most minimal game-changing decisions made possible walkthrough. Its clear that you can't proceed without some scumbagery, like Yumi's first game-changing event, but I bet I can continue the "main story" to a degree without seeing events like "still young" or "the need to hurt" etc.

Out of all of the possibilities though, the hardest decision is probably whether or not fucking Sara when Sana is in the other room. On one hand, she is possibly the best bet on a decent sexual relationship for Sensei. Single, same age, horny, comes with a cute prospect of a step-daughter.
The only problem is the whole "bang her drunk with her daughter whose smile you want to protect in the next room" starting point.
In fact, I think this is the first question I ever asked: Am I going to royally fuck up things with Sana for starting something with Sara?
The sole hint of something going on with Ayane made her cry ffs.
